Hello,

Where do we start the clock? With the Ottoman invasion? With the Mongol invasion? With the Arab Muslim invasion? With the Sassanid invasion?

The piece of land known as Iraq has known many invaders. The latest being daesh.

I do think we are seeing an end game emerge. What is now called Iraq will be divided into Sunni, Shia and Kurdish states. And, while Sunni and Shia power brokers will scream and claim it is an evil plot by the West, I do think it is in the best interest of all "Iraqis."

Just my two cents.

Actually how about if China/Russia invade the US and divide it up between blacks, whites, and hispanics maybe?

 

US citizens in the three new countries might be able to live safer as a result (no more white people killing unarmed black people), even if some US leaders scream and claim that dividing their country is an evil ploy, it would be in the best interests of all Americans no? 

 

Or city states alternatively, that are the baseline of dysfunction in the US.

That would never happen. Red Dawn is just that, a movie. If Russia or China ever tried that, US would nuke Beijing and probably Moscow also. At that point it would end or else they would counterattack and life as we know it would be over. 

That is not in the interest of US, Russia, or China. 

 

A more likely scenario would be the breakup of the US into separate countries from within, i.e. another civil war. 

Texas and Calfornia have already talked about secession, although not very seriously.

They would be two major world powers just on their own.

If there was some major civil disturbance and the US government had to send troops in to quell this,

and these troops had to stay for some time, they would start committing atrocities, just like they do in other countries.

Then these states would secced, either on their own (as probably would happen with Texas and California) or

in groups, such as the Mid West States or the East Coast States.

But there is nothing like that happening now, so it is really theoretical at this point.
