if youre seeiously asking, I usually saw jinn as small black/red orbs/dots but can see them in any form from a spider to ghost-like shape to a shadow in the form of a man. I dont just see jinn but theyre more common in society esp with all that jinn music being played literally everywhere and in every car and from every phone

why do you ask?

With respect to the conspiracy theory about Bahais marrying their blood relations, I have worked the material here up into a blog posting. I would like to thank all those who have participated for their help in preparing this.

I thoroughly read your blog post. This is how I summarize it:

1- You start the blog by playing the victim by citing some harsh comments from anonymous users on some weblogs (e.g. some dude said Baha'is must be killed). This is a tactic I have frequently seen used by Baha'is to create a sense of sympathy towards Baha'is and Baha'ism.

2- You connected the aforementioned comments and claims of Baha'is practicing incest to Iranian government policy about Bah'ais. In fact, the government of Iran's stance on Bah'ais is this: Baha'ism a cult that endangers national security. Their reasons for this stance is out of the scope of the current discussion.

3- You tried to disprove the legality of incest in Baha'ism by stating that no Baha'i practices incest or by asking for evidence showing Baha'is practice incest. Excuse me, but if you haven't realized it yet, that is not how you disprove the existence of a law.

4-You have dishonesty attributed things to me that I have never stated: e.g.

Quote

Later, the same person said “Just because I can’t show you an example of such an act it doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen.” Which is true, but a strange reason for thinking it must happen!

Where did I say "It must happen"? From my first post, my stance was this: Baha'i law allows incest. I criticized the law, I didn't speak about incest happening.

Quote
The argument is that the Bahai Faith is a deficient religion, because it has not regulated this properly, and because – in the speaker’s view – religion should dominate all aspects of life.

Where did I make such an argument?

5- You failed to produce any evidence that explicitly mentions incest is prohibited in Baha'ism (except parent's spouse).

In fact, if the Baha'i cult house of justice believed incest is illegal under Baha'i law, they would have explicitly stated this fact instead of giving guidelines on how and when incest can be performed.

What is the point of this thread?

"O you who have believed, if there comes to you a disobedient one with information, investigate, lest you harm a people out of ignorance and become, over what you have done, regretful."

Sen McGlinn,

So I just read a long response to my post only to realize you did nothing but reaffirm what I had been saying from day one but in greater detail:

I'll elaborate by asking two questions:

1-Are Baha'is under some conditions allowed to perform some forms of incest including marriage between siblings? Yes.

2-Is there any quote in Baha'i literature or the rulings of the Universal House of Justice that forbids all forms of incest such as marriage between siblings? No.

Let me be more blunt: I live in country X, where incest is culturally accepted and allowed under the law. I want to marry my sibling. Our parents have also announced their consent. Under Baha'i law I am now allowed to marry my sibling. Case closed.

That's flawed logic. Just because a law isn't explicitly stated, doesn't mean that people practice it, or are encouraged to practice it.

For example, is eating glass forbidden in the Quran? How about bestiality? No? But this doesn't make me think that Muslims do these things because I also believe in common sense.

Baha'u'llah has revealed laws for humanity's age of maturity, it doesn't make sense to repeat things that are common sense. For example, I would have a curfew when I was younger, but my parents wouldn't tell me to be sleep by a certain time when I'm in my 20s. By that time, I have the understanding that I need a good nights sleep, to be at my best for the next day.
