The best comment on porn l ever heard was from a student. She said, "it is so childish".

 

I agreed, but after a while l realized how insightful her comment was. Remembering how pre-schoolers go through stages of pre-occupation --like with water, urine, feces, clothing-- a pre-occupation with pictures is the same thing.

 

And for the "porn-in-the-personality-self-description" where it is like a child's translational object, it becomes autistic.

It was such a difficult thing to overcome. I felt like I was going crazy. But after a couple weeks, I had nocternal emissions. I feel in tune with my breath now. And generally more in the moment, rarely "lost in my head" anymore.
