Did Shias Killed Imam Husain (Alayhe Al Salam) ?

Bismillah

Asaalamalikum WR WB,

It is true indeed that there was no Shiite or Sunni sects when the tragedy of Karbala took place. The Ummah overwhelmingly as a whole, including the Followers of Ali, Hassan, and Imam Hussain himself, all had betrayed Imam Hussain on that day. You can easily see this when you look at just the number of people who joined Imam Hussain. There were not a lot and these people who joined him, were extremely few. Even when Imam Hussain was leaving from Hijaz, back then, it was Medina that was the powerhouse if you will, of Shia Islam at the time, the same way Najaf or Qum are today. Many of the scholars who were with Imam Hussain in Medina told him also, to leave Yazeed Alone and not goto Iraq. To just stay in Medina and they will have peace. If we think about it from that aspect, then yes Shias of that time should be included in their betrayal of Imam.

Even today, God swt, withholds our 12th Imam, Imam Al Mahdi(ATFS) from us, even though we call ourselves Shiite. Even though we weep and mourn for Imam Hussain. Even though we mark the martyrdom of all our Ahlul Bayt(AS). Why? Well Just because we call ourselves Shia does not mean it is automatic. He our Imam is not here. God has taken him away from us, because he gave us 11 others and we failed them. We must better ourselves.

WaSalaam

Also another important thing to consider and ponder on is that if Imam Hussain (RA) was infallible then why did he fell in the trap of the people of Kuffah who were the enemies of his father Ali (RA) and his brother Al Hassan (RA) and also betrayed them ???

(  Maulana Ishaq  explains shia did not kill Imam Hussain )

why didn`t he provide any reference(s) for his claims ??? my previous post was deleted by mods in which i gave numerous references from Shia books which says Hazrat Hussain (RA) was martyred by the kufis and if you don`t believe me then do some research by yourself, don`t listen to man who accuses others of lying while does not provides reference to back his own absurd claims.

another question nobody asked this man was why the tents of Hazrat Hussain (RA) were set on fire ??? if he had no letters from the people of kuffah then why were his tents set on fire ???

When he is speaking he is not sitting with Books , you can see other lectures he has given in Jumah Khutba , he always gives references from Hadeeth Books.

^ it's quite a well-known account why don't u look it up

yes it a well known account and i provided many references from Shiite books to prove my claim but unfortunately the mods found it to be inappropriate for some reason and deleted my post.

i highly recommend searching the words of Hazrat Zain ul Aabideen (rahimaullah) regarding the people of kuffah.

So the "Shi'a" betrayed Imam al-Husayn (as)? I guess the "Sunnis" revolted against Uthman, no?

no, the followers of Abdullah ibn Saba al yahoodi revolted against Hazrat Uthman (RA) and martyred an old man like cowards.
