Advanced Member CityOfKnowledge Posted January 18, 2015 Advanced Member Report Share Posted January 18, 2015 "your remedy is within you, but you do not sense it. your sickness is from you, but you do not perceive it. you presume you're a small entity, but within you is enfolded the entire universe. You are indeed the evident book, by whose alphabet the hidden becomes manifest. Therefore, you have no need to look beyond yourself. What you seek is within you, if only you reflect." Apparently it's in Nahj al Balagha, but I can't find it there. Could someone shed some light on the source. Basic Members Adeel-Raza Posted November 20, 2016 Basic Members Report Share Posted November 20, 2016 Is there any English version available for that book, where I could read those lines. ?
Basic Members Adeel-Raza Posted November 22, 2016 Basic Members Report Share Posted November 22, 2016 Can someone verify that the English translation exactly corresponds to this reference mentioned above. ?http://lib.eshia.ir/27056/1/71/جرم I asked someone who knows Arabic and he said that the Arabic text is different. It doesn't mean this, "your remedy is within you, but you do not sense it. your sickness is from you, but you do not perceive it. you presume you're a small entity, but within you is enfolded the entire universe. You are indeed the evident book, by whose alphabet the hidden becomes manifest. Therefore, you have no need to look beyond yourself. What you seek is within you, if only you reflect." Can someone share a reference. ?
