What hygiene do eyebrows need? Eyebrows that are plucked by men indicate that they want to look extra attractive. Women do it as a normal day to day basis. That is why it isn't always very attractive to women as it is linked to femininity.

You don't need to pluck them to like feminine. What I meant was that women like men that take care of their hygiene. Having a unibrow will make people look to your eyebrows instead of eyes lol

I don't know all the reasons. Perhaqs, ask the brothers, some may just do it because they like it. It may not necessarily mean they are bad boys or players. I see your point Qwefs. But I was talking about men fully shaping the eyebrows like women do. Not a unibrow. Regardless, Is there a ruling on it?

Lol, I didn't mean make my eyebrows look feminine, I must admit I pluck my eyebrows to stop myself from looking like a cave man but it does not look plucked.

My eyebrows look like Sayed Hasan Nasrallah's. That's right, he too plucks his eye brows.

how does a man do his eyebrows? I would like to know

Well some of us who are Arab, or Irani or Afghani (I have all 3 in me) we can have wild eyebrows, because I have a bit of Arab, Irani and Afghan in me my eyebrows reach my beard but the hairs are too small to be visible from a distance.

So I pluck the wild hairs, on top of the eye lids but not above the eyebrows, if you pluck above your eyebrows then you will look feminine. So just take out the single odd hairs underneath your eyebrows and on your eye lids.

Don't think I am being "gay". This is manly stuff which takes a real man to realize.

Also don't forget to separate your eyebrows, for some of us they can become one, so pick the hair in between the 2 to make your eyebrows neat and 2.

I personally do think it's much more attractive on men to pluck and clean their eyebrows, as long as it's not very apparent. I think the feminine part isn't good nor bad, it depends on the shape you get. Some men do pluck their eyebrows and refine them to the point where it is evident they did it, but they still look pretty good and not feminine at all, just cleaner and more formal. However, there are somecmen who unfortunately get feminine shapes on their eyebrows, that definitely looks disgusting on a man.

My point is that if you know a good professional, you can ask him to refine your eyebrows but not to the point it is apparent that you plucked them. Thus you won't get a resuly you don't want. I usually get a real reference so the person plucking my eyebrows know the style I'm looking for.

I never noticed it was in the brothers forum. I never go there, I just replied to the topic. I apologise.

Sisters are welcome in the brothers forum unless required to leave by the OP, this is about eye brows, so stay please.

Why are sisters commenting here? Seriously, every gender should just use their own forum.

Don't be a mood killer and this post is about eyebrows so I think the sister is fine being here.

No. Each gender has their own forum, and I don't care if guys are commenting in the other forum, that's their problem. No gender should be commenting on the other gender's forum.

Game over.

yeah well I did it and got beaten up by my dad then he starts talking about drugs and saying that some one forced me to do it and I'm gonna end up in prison. (Real bad beating)

Some parents can be reaaally weird sometimes. If feel you. As for the original question: I don't recall trimming/cutting anything other than you beard being haram. It's more the screwed up society in which we live in today where girls think a boy with a unibrow is disgusting and parents saying it's sexy to keep it and gay to cut it. Happy cutting!

I have no idea but it looks attractive. Its a good question to ask.

Subjective.

Oh slits. Well it makes you seem wild, like you have just had a brawl with a bear. So I guess it would appeal to stone age mentalities.

I for one prefer a plucked and refined complete eye brows

Erm, plucked brows on men are the gayest thing.

That is called hygiene.

They should probably wax their beards and legs too while they at it.

Unibrow > plucked brow.

Ukh please, masculinity is going to be extinct sooner than I thought.

Well I don't think nowadays it could be considered a feminine thing to pluck your eyebrows. It depends on hoe much you pluck them I guess. But all in all, it is halal to do so if you are not imitating women. Depends on where you live I guess.
