bismilah alrahman alraheem,

salam alaikum,

as we all know one of the most sahih hadiths concerning the end times emergence is the nafs zakiyya execution. basically an innocent soul. Of course another sign of the days will be mass murder or many hordes of innocent souls, therefore, we can be sure that this one nafs zakeya is very special.

what would make the Nafs Zakiyya so special? in my humble oppinion, it would be because it must be a famous personality, who is as innocent as can get, and put on death row in front of the eyes of the world, for all to see. And in total injustice, beyond any doubt.

So nowadays if i had to chose somebody like that, i would not be able to find any alternative to Shaikh Nimr Baqr al-Nimr, who is on death row by none other than the yazid loving regime of saudi wahabia.

basically nafs zakeya killing, is the making of one of the most prominent martyrdom figures in Islam.

so let us keep our eyes open for a ritualized innocent killing in front of the wolrd.

from brother Qa'im's "Tusi's Ghayba" selection, where he kindly put together some hadiths concerning this, which of course don't need to be 100%. Also they can be true and symbolic in meaning and not literal.

From him from Muhammad b. Khalaf al-Haddad from Isma`il b. Aban al-Azadi from Sufyan b. Ibrahim al-Jariri that he heard his father say:

Nafs az-Zakiyya is a young man from the Family of Muhammad. His name is “Muhammad b. al-Hasan”, and he will be killed without a crime nor a sin. When they kill him, they will neither have an excuse in the heavens nor a supporter in the Earth. So at that, Allah will raise the Qa’im of the Family of Muhammad in a group from them who are softer in the eyes of the people than kohl. When they appear, the people will weep for them – they would think that they would be abducted. Allah will conquer the easts for the Earth and its wests for them. Verily, they are truly the believers; verily, the best jihad is in the end times.

Qarqara from Nasr b. al-Layth al-Maroozi from ibn Talha al-Jahdari. He said: `Abdillah b. Lahee`a narrated from Abi Zur`a from Abi `Abdillah b. Ruzayn from `Ammar b. Yasir that he had said:

The state of Ahl al-Bayt will come in the end times, and for it there are signs. When you see them, stick to the Earth and abstain [from action] until its signs come. The Romans and Turks will attack you, and armies will be prepared, and your Caliph who gathered the monies will die, and a good man will take his place, but after [a few] years his allegiance will be dismissed, meeting the decimation of their rule from where it began. And the Turks and Romans will fight, and the wars will increase in the Earth, and a caller will call at the fence of Damascus, “A warning to the People of the Earth from the impending fear”, and the western portion of its Mosque will be destroyed until its wall collapses. And three persons will appear in Sham – all of whom will be vying to rule: a spotted man, a reddish man, and a man from the family of Abu Sufyan who will appear in Kalab, and gather the people in Damascus and expel the people of the west to Egypt. When they enter [Damascus], that is the sign of the Sufyani. And before that, one who will call to the Family of Muhammad عليهم السلام will appear. The Turks will descend to Hira, and Rome will descend to Palestine. `Abdullah (or, the servant of Allah) will precede [them] until he meets their soldiers at Qurqisiya’ at the river. There will be much killing. The leader of the west (al-maghrib) will march, and kill men and take women captive, then he will return to Qays until the Sufyani descends into the Peninsula. Then, the Yamani will precede, fight, and take over what the Sufyani had gathered. Then, he (i.e. the Sufyani) will march to Kufa, kill the supporters of the Family of Muhammad صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم, and kill a man who is named after them. Then, the Mahdi will appear; upon his standard is Shu`ayb b. Salih. And when the people of Sham see that its affair has been gathered for ibn Abi Sufyan, go to Mecca. So at that, Nafs az-Zakiyya and his brother will be killed in Mecca. So a caller will call from the sky, “O people, your leader is fulan”, and that would be the Mahdi who will fill the Earth with equity and justice as it would be fraught with oppression and injustice.

And by this isnad from ibn Faddal from Hamad from Ibrahim b. `Umar from `Umar b. Hanthalah from Abu `Abdillah عليه السلام.

He said: Five of the signs shall be prior to the rising of the Qa’im: the cry, the Sufyani, the swallowing-up by the desert, the coming out of the Yamani, and the killing of Nafs az-Zakiyya.

Ahmad b. Idris from `Ali b. Muhammad b. Qutayba from al-Fadl b. Shadhan from al-Hasan b. Mahbub from Abu Hamza ath-Thumali.

He said: I said to Abu `Abdillah عليه السلام: Verily Abu Ja`far عليه السلام used to say: The coming of the Sufyani is from the inevitable [events to come], the call is from the inevitable, the Sun rising from the West is from the inevitable, and things he would say were among the inevitable. So Abu `Abdillah عليه السلام said: The schism of the fulan tribe is from the inevitable, the killing of Nafs al-Zakiyya is from the inevitable, and the appearance of the Qa'im is from the inevitable. I said: What will the call be like? He said: The Caller will call from the sky at the beginning of the day, and all communities will hear it in their own language [and the Caller will say]: Verily, the truth is in `Ali and his Shi`a. Then Iblees will call at the end of the day from the Earth: Verily, the truth is in `Uthman and his Shi`a. And upon this, the wrongdoers will be deluded.

Bismillah. Salaam. According to narrations, Nafs Zakiyya is a man of the Prophet's progeny, i.e. he is Sayyed, but Sheikh Namer is not Sayyed. With Duas. Narsis.

Bismilah alrahman alraheem

walaikum salaam warahmat Allah

yes that is true, we have narrations like that. yet i believe we shouldn't dismiss it because

1. there are many people who aren't aware of them being related to the prophet, while they are

2.  it could be symbolic, like hazrat salman al muhamadi .. where somebody is so close to the ahl bayt, that they get called as part of ahl bayt when they are not physically.

3. maybe the hadith about the lineage isn't accurate.

..or, of course maybe it's not shaikh nimr. I'm hoping that we recognize the nafs zakeya if we survive to see him, and use this momentum to start the final uprising .. qyama ..

in any case looking for innocent people being executed is a good thing, as we point out injustices, and i believe any person being unjustly executed to some extent connects to the final nafs zakeya. Just like people struggling in the way of the hidden imam also are somehow connected to the Imam ..

thanks for duas,

jazak Allah Khair

duas back to you

I agree with peace seeker II. The Nafs e Zakkiya's affiliation with the Holy Prophet (PBUH)'s progeny might be symbolic and not an actual blood relation.

We can only wait and see what that cruel regime does to Shaikh Namer.  In any case, pray for his release.

in my humble opinion every body has to be prepared for the coming of Imam Zaman. Maybe the death penalty against Sheikh al nimr is really one of the signs of Imam Mahdis return, maybe it is not, nevertheless we have to fight for freedom and against all kind of unjustice! Only this awareness and determination can help the return of Imam Mahdi.

according to what I read, Nafs Al Zakiya will be lynched by thugs, much like Sheikh Hassan Shehata was lynched in Egypt. This will be during a disturbance in Mecca during Hajj period, in the year which the Imam will appear. So it will happen weeks before the reappearance of imam (as). In fact the Sayha/blast/call in ramadan may have already happened, and people are already fighting everywhere, and the Sufyani has already started his reign of terror, and the war would have reached Mecca where there will be civil unrest, after the death of a caliph in Hejaz and disagreements over the new caliph begin, the princes will fight but none of them will be victorious until black banner arrive from the east

seems war and strife is now reaching Saudi Wahabia, and several Saudi army posts and cities ( such as supposedly city of Ahad al-Masareha in Jazan ) have been taken by Ansarullah, while family disputes take place within the thiefdom. And of course police officers get killed left and right from what i read, and and and ..

so, the latest from the person who most embodies the nafs el zakeya of this time  .. for me anyway ..

Execution of Sheikh Nimr to Spark Revolution in S. Arabia

Several Saudi rights activists warned Riyadh that execution of the prominent Shiite cleric, Sheikh Nimr Baqir al-Nimr, would set fire to Saudi Arabia.

“The Saudi people will ask for a halt in the execution of the death sentence (for Sheikh Nimr) by staging peaceful rallies and protests,” Sheikh Abbas al-Qatifi told FNA on Saturday.

Stressing the strong opposition of Saudi Arabia’s Eastern province to the execution of the Shiite cleric, he said, “The case of Sheikh Nimr is a Saudi show played by the Saudi princes at the order of the US and the Zionist regime as part of a plot in the country and even other Islamic countries.”

Also in relevant remarks today, Abdolhadi al-Sattari, another Saudi rights activist, told FNA that the Saudi officials have resorted to terrorists to suppress the Shiites inside and outside Saudi Arabia.

He warned that the Eastern province’s people will take revenge for the blood of their martyrs.

Also other rights activists said that the Saudi youth have condemned plans to execute Sheikh Nimr and are preparing themselves for a big revolution against the country’s cruel rulers.

An informed Saudi source told FNA on Wednesday that Riyadh planned to execute Sheikh Nimr on May 14.

“The Saudi regime plans to execute Sheikh Nimr on the death anniversary of Nayef bin Abdullah, the former Saudi crown prince,” the source, who spoke on the condition of anonymity due to the sensitivity of his information, said.

The source said the Saudi rulers know that the move would engulf the monarchy in the flames of unrest and they might have to pay a heavy price for the execution of Sheikh Nimr, and they have prepared riot combat plans after consultations with several western security experts.

Nimr was attacked and arrested in the Qatif region in July 2012. His arrest sparked widespread protests in the kingdom leaving several people dead.

On October 15, 2014, Nimr was sentenced to death at the Specialized Criminal Court in Riyadh. In reaction to the sentence, people took to streets in the city of Qatif in Eastern Province to condemn the move.

Amnesty International has called the death sentence “appalling”, saying the verdict should be quashed.

Nimr was given the death sentence on charges of disturbing the kingdom’s security and making anti-government speeches.

He is the Imam of al-Awamiyya Mosque in Qatif and has spent most of his two-year detention in solitary confinement at the al-Ha’ir prison in Riyadh, according to Amnesty International.

Protesters have staged rallies worldwide to condemn the death sentence handed down to Sheikh Nimr, and have voiced solidarity with the dissident Saudi religious scholar.

There have been numerous demonstrations in Saudi Arabia’s oil-rich Eastern Province since 2011, with the protestors calling for political reform and an end to widespread discrimination. Several people have been killed and many others have been injured or arrested during the demonstrations.

The Persian Gulf monarchy has come under fire from international human rights organizations, which have criticized it for failing to address the rights situation in the kingdom. Critics say the country shows zero-tolerance toward dissent.

In January, Joe Stork, the deputy director of the Middle East and North Africa division for Human Right Watch, slammed Saudi Arabia’s crackdown on activists in the kingdom.

“Saudi Arabia should free imprisoned activists and take other concrete, visible steps to show the government is willing to improve its abysmal rights record,” Stork said.

Stork also questioned the election of Saudi Arabia as a member of the Human Rights Council in November last year, saying that Riyadh has a record of repression and its membership is not warranted.

Saudi Arabia is an absolute monarchy that does not allow any election.

Yes, this is exactly what I wanted to say.

Firstly Sufyani must rise. At the same day, Khorasani and Yamani must rise. This risings should be in Rajab.

Then we have a cry (Sayhah) in Ramadan.

And then, 5 or 15 days before the appearance of Imam Mahdi atfs in Muharram, Imam atfs sends the Nafs Zakiyah to Mecca (Kaaba) to tell people that Imam Mahdi atfs is about to reappear. By hearing this claim, the people in Mecca kill him (Nafs Zakiyah) between Rukn and Maqam.

So the Sufyani's rising should be the first sign we see before the appearance of Imam Mahdi atfs.

^ That news story seems to have contradictory statements. Didn't the crown prince die on June 16, not May 14?

There was already an uprising from a guy called Nafs Zakiyya during the Abbasid times and I believe he was executed. Are the predictions referring to that?

No, there will be a purified soul before Imam Mahdi. And maybe after there might even be an increase jn purified souls since Imam mahdi is supposed to be a purified soul too.

Salam Alaykum

News like that -which is pertained to Imam Mahdi- makes me glad, less worried and really hopeful about the future, even if I'm not sure that these signals are applicable to current events.

It reminds me of the light future we're heading toward; thus that encourages me to do my best as to be a qualified Muslim for his reappearance.
May God hasten his reappearance.

Thank you all.

Nafs Zakeya killing I thought was supposed to be inside the Kaaba and is supposed to be killed while or with the intention of announcing the return of our Imam Mahdi(Atfs)?

According to the Qur'an,  no soul knows what land it will die. The n.a.z you are talking about was abbasid. He died by the kaaba. :)
