Adel Jassim Flaifel, former colonel in the State Security and Intelligence Service of Bahrain
A former Bahraini intelligence official is reportedly conducting activities to set up a Bahraini branch for the so-called Islamic State of Iraq and Levant to act against the pro-democracy opposition in the tiny Persian Gulf country.

According to a report by the Manama Post, Colonel Adel Jassim Flaifel, a former colonel in the State Security and Intelligence Service of Bahrain, is forming the branch with participation of extremist Salafi figures.

The ISIL is a former affiliate of al-Qaeda terrorist group, which has been one of the main forces in the Syrian war aimed at overthrowing the government and has recently started an extremist-marked assault in north of Iraq.

The paper says American intelligence services have already reported of the underway activities for formation of the group by Flaifel.

The report also says the Bahraini regime of Al Khalifa has been warned by US authorities over consequences of its brutal crackdown of the pro-democracy movement, that could get worse by formation of radical groups in the country.

Flaifel is accused of committing acts of physical and psychological torture on Bahraini citizens from 1980s.

He has also been reportedly involved in acts of violence against pro-democracy activists in the country.

On 5 December, Flaifel tweeted death threats against three activists involved in the 2011-2012 Bahraini uprising: Mohammed Al-Maskati, Nabeel Rajab, and Yousef Al-Mahafdha.

The incident led the International Federation for Human Rights and the World Organisation Against Torture to issue a joint statement calling for a letter-writing campaign on the men's behalfsince mid-February 2011, thousands of protesters have held numerous demonstrations in the streets of Bahrain, calling on the Al Khalifa royal family to relinquish power.

Foreign forces from Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates were called in immediately at the beginning of the protests to help Manama quash the anti-regime protests.

Scores of Bahrainis have been killed and hundreds of others injured and arrested in the ongoing crackdown on peaceful demonstrations

ISIL Flag Hoisted in Bahraini Mosque

The flag of the so-called Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) terrorist group is said to have been raised in the largest mosque in Bahrain.

According to Al-Watan daily, the flag was officially raised in Al-Fatih Mosque in Bahrain last week during the Eid al-Fitr, which marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
This is yet another indication of the Al Khalifa regime's behind the scene relations with the Takfiri group.
Many militants belonging to the ISIL have confirmed their Bahraini nationality.
Meanwhile, head of Bahrain's public security department Tariq al-Hassan was quoted as saying that the ISIL activities are being monitored and that the group will do no harm to the people of Bahrain.
The ISIL terrorist activities came into spotlight when militants belonging to the terrorist group took control of the Iraqi city of Mosul on June 10, which was followed by the fall of Tikrit, located 140 kilometers (87 miles) northwest of Baghdad.
More than a million people have been displaced in Iraq so far this year, according to the United Nations.
The ISIL has vowed to continue its raid towards Baghdad. Soldiers of the Iraqi army have been engaged in heavy fighting with the militants on different fronts and have so far been able to push back militants in several areas.

ISIS Advances in Iraq Echoed in Bahrain

Top Bahrain government officials took to Twitter to show what is being perceived as support for the advances of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), a splinter group of the terror organisation Al Qaeda, in Iraq.

On June 11, Bahrain government spokeswoman and Minister of Information Sameera Rajab tweeted [ar]:

I hope to be wrong but there are confirmations that ISIS is a name that is being thrown around in the media as a cover up to silence the will of the Iraqi people for freedom and dignity

It seems Bahraini rulers learnt from their sufyani Turkish masters a lot.

Through "repentant" "retired" members of intelligent services and army officials, the Turkish regime trained "Islamic mujahids", next was to arm them to stop the islamic revolutionary people. Turkey did these things in the 1990's (now they are doing this with legal names such as institutions though). What's more, in 1990s, they had used the holy name of "Hizbullah" in doing so. (Later, Gendarmerie Intelligence Organization admitted to have founded their group, trained and supported them, in order to both eliminate anti-regime Muslims in Turkey and to end the symphaty of Muslims in the region towards the real Hizbullah in Lebanon and elsewhere and stop Turks from consisting of such movements themselves. They failed though to do that.).

Anyway, we would call the takfiri agents of the regime, Hizbulvahşet (Partisans of Brutality, for they would chop up Muslims using meat cleavers). They targeted anti-regime Hizbullahi Muslims, and massacred many, they especially killed the members of Menzil Movement, Medreset'üz Zehra Movement and others, until they targeted Islami Davet movement too. The ID responded them and the agents were gone in a short time. :)

And I believe, with the majority of revolutionary Muslims in Bahrain, and these few takfiri agents of the regime, should God forbid, these fools attack the revolutionary Muslims, 1- It will unite sunni and shia Muslims against them and against the regime, 2- The revolution also will get armed and I believe in a few days, a takfiri cleansed free Islamic state will be founded.

I hope that these ISIL fans awaken and are not used by the regime. However if they don't wake up, I am sure the revolutionary Muslims will put them to their eternal sleep. ma salam

Whenever something happens anywhere in the mid east, it all restarts in Israel/palestine again, like a big fix to remove attention from the main issue like the invasion in Syria and now Iraq and Bahrain, and put spotlight on Palestine when much worse is happening elsewhere... a big game all at the cost of innocent lives.

Jang has to be the first newspaper ever to report on ISIS, the issue seems widely ignored by all people living in Pakistan when most don't even know who ISIS are.
