Salam. The Ebola Disease was still active in Africa until 2024. Surprisingly there is no data at the WHO during 2024. If that is because of clerical error or the virus actually died off, I'm not sure.

However, it's very likely that the Trump Administration defunding of USAID in 2025 was a direct cause of Ebola patients in Africa not only spreading disease to others but dying before they could get vaccines and/or medications and medical care. Ebola became active again in 2025 and is still spreading now in 2026.
