(Bismillah)

(Salam)

I know I read it few times, can somebody give me the exact verse. I can't seem to find it at all.

Its goes like this I think.

O belivers Take knowledge from the disbelievers because you are more worthy/deserving of it.

Thanks.

you mean in the Qur'an disbelievers were introduced as "possessors of knowledge" from whom Muslims should seek knowledge?

or Muslims should stop disbelievers from gaining any knowledge?

you know in the Qur'an, knowledge mainly means Guidance, so Quranicly speaking, science is not a knowledge. for example, according to Qur'an, an atheist scientist is very ignorant whose life is based on speculations only.

They say," There is nothing but the life of this world: we live and we die, and nothing but time destroys us." But they do not have any knowledge of that, and they only make conjectures. XLV24

Indeed those who do not believe in the Hereafter give female names to the angels.
They do not have any knowledge of that. They follow nothing but conjectures, and indeed conjecture is no substitute for the truth.
So avoid those who turn away from Our remembrance and desire nothing but the life of the world.
That is the ultimate reach of their knowledge. Indeed your Lord knows best those who stray from His way, and He knows best those who are [rightly] guided.LIII27-30

Salamun alaykum.

I have not heard of such Verse.

It reads:

"When the faithless nourished bigotry in their hearts, the bigotry of pagan ignorance, Allah sent down His composure upon His Apostle and upon the faithful, and made them abide by the word of God wariness, for they were the worthiest of it and deserved it, and Allah has knowledge of all thing."

It says that believers are worthiest of the word of God wariness. So this Verse has nothing to do with the question.
