Sallam

I know Israeli products are haram, but why isn't it the same with US or UK or any of the countries involved in funding terrorists.

Israel, USA, UK other various nations, Saudi Arabia, UAE. these countries are known throughout the world for causing corruption, the western countries are responsible for all the wars in middle east and Africa. They openly fund and support terrorists, the US supported the ISIS in Syria with arms and money, they support Israel and call hezbollah a terrorist organization, they call Iran a pro-terrorist country - overall countries like the US keep people ignorant and use their ignorance, they cause corruption, cause unjust wars, support evil regimes. Every crime you can think of, america and its western allies have done, every war starts from them, every fitna they have a hand in it.

It is all done with the money they gain through trade.

So why aren't they deprived of trading with Muslims, Why haven't they got a trade embargo from the Muslims, or at least shias? because the money they earn from trading with Muslims is used against Muslims.

ISRAEL is a registered private corporation of the US SEC , located in NY .

All funds that go to ISRAEL go to the US anyway and that goes for most of the nations on Earth .

And all major corporations are registered in US SEC , get their funding from banks in the CITY OF LONDON , and has the VATICAN's blessings.

You cannot be serious.

The Shias and Sunnis started killing each other right after the prophet Mohammed (pbuh) passed away.

The Wahhabis have been killing virtually everything that moves since the 1700s

The Hindus and Muslims have been at each other since Allah knows when.

Did you mean to say that the wars in the Middle East and Africa have been brought to light since the Western media began reporting on them?

Because the Kurds didn't have a safe place to live until the coalition forces (aka, everyone) provided safety after the first Gulf War.

Don't let your animosity towards the West cloud your insight. The West did not invent Shaytan.

Tell me what are US forces doing all the way across the world in the middle east? you think they are there to protect human rights? what kind of weapons do wahabi use? russian or american? how did the family of Saud (who are the major supporter of terrorism) come to power?

As far as i know, everything that supports Zionism or oppresses muslims is haram, no matter from where it comes.

My question is still standing, as I don't get convinced by a fatwa from a marja'. Is there a hadith that prohibits trading with a non-muslim nation which opposes the muslims? And if so, then that obviously includes the US and European countries also, so how can the maraji' give the fatwa on Israel and exclude the other countries(supposing it is correct, which I doubt).

I find these fatwas, like the one above, quite ridiculous. It seems like it's mostly based on politics and public opinion than on the true religious verdict, because if it's prohibited to buy from Israel, then the exact same thing would be on the United States, there is absolutely no difference between the two in terms of opposition to the Muslims and Islam in general.

It's not about opposition, it's about oppressing muslims and supporting Zionism. And not all products are haram, just because they are produced in US or EU.Coca Cola and Mc Donald's f.ex.are officially supporting zionism, not only by paying taxes, but donating and financing zionist organisations.

Standing up against oppression is not a political matter, it's about justice that our blesed Prophet saas and his progeny as tought us.

And yes,it is not possible to boycott every product, 0because the whole system is oppressing, but the more the better, because our support will be questioned on the day of judgement.

The Problem is, that at least there are only 147 major companies worldwide which own all the others. And unfortunately most of them are serving zionist or oppressing interests and are based in the US.But still it is not possible to say trading with US in general is forbidden, because there are also small factories and companies which do not oppress or serve zionist interests.

Isn't the US itself an oppressive regime? you don't have to look to much too realize how cruel they are. They have also done more crimes in the world then Israel, so why ban one and not the rest, its a matter of principle, either you oppose all oppression or none.

Yes, the US Gouv. is an oppressive regime, for sure but still there are small companies u can trade with, which do not serve imperialistic or zionist interests.I think there are also muslim factories. They pay tax but tax is not only for army and weapons. The US army got more and more private, so that rich individuals, particularly from the gulf states, pay for private soldiers.

But I see the point and I try to boycott everything from the US,Israel,UK because I don't want to support them. But since the whole system ist infected, it's necessary to get it down and build up a just one.

W salaam.

Israel openly violates human rights in Palestine, like the white regime in South Africa used to do to blacks (and like Nazis who tortured Jews). Which makes it important to boycott by any reasonable ethical standard. Many moral communities and individuals already do, and continue to advocate for it: http://www.bdsmovement.net/2014/more-than-60000-signatories-including-nobel-prize-laureates-celebrities-and-religious-organizations-call-for-military-embargo-on-israel-ahead-of-gaza-donors-conference-12736

The US government funds Israel with 3 billion dollars per year and provides other political, financial and military support from time to time. So yes we should minimize paying taxes to the US government as well (within legal boundaries, if you live in the US). The first step is to boycott those companies that make Israel's occupation possible and profitable: http://www.bdsmovement.net/make-an-impact
