The west is providing arms to Kurdistan solely. Breaking international law which states it to be illegal to give arms to a specific region of a nation if that region may use these arms against the nations government. Why? Because they've failed to bring down Assad the goal of which was to deprive Iran of the corridor to the Levant / Lebanon. Because this has failed, another option might be to break Iraq into a minimum of 2 pieces so that an independent, heavily armed western allied Kurdistan might serve as the block to the free passage corridor that Iran has envoyés to the Levant / Lebanon.

Documentary - Meeting ISIL (PressTV goes deep inside the terrorist group).

To learn who these people are, what they are fighting for, and who funds them, PRESS TV goes deep into their camps and brings you face to face interviews and exclusive footage. Many of those who were initially infatuated by the group’s promise of justice seem to be horrified and utterly disillusioned today.

Everyone who is not us is the enemy and should be branded as infidel. This seems to be the prevailing ideology of the extreme Takfiri terrorists known as the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL). Their aim is said to be the establishment of an Islamic Caliphate. Shias, Christians, Sunnis, Yazidies, and whomsoever who dares to question them or raise his voice of dissent are persecuted under their highly distorted version of Islamic Sharia. Gruesome be-headings, crucifixions and mass executions are openly carried out under their iconic black flag which is more like a modern day equivalent of a Jolly Roger. At times, it seems like their victims are whoever who is unlucky enough to be in their path during their killing sprees. And yet they know how to manipulate social media and have succeeded in brainwashing some to join them in their “fight for justice”.

(salam)

In one of the most shameless shams and misleading articles recently produced, see:

Wall Street Journal, 22Aug14  1635hrs EDT, "Assad Policies Aided Rise of Islamic State Militant Group: lsIamic State or ISlS Gained Momentum early on from Calculated Decision by Bashar al-Assad to Go Easy On lt"

--the title summarizes the cwap article

--Says UK intell says there are 500 Britons in IS, but Parliament said 1,500

--that IS numbers 10,000 in June when it took Mosul, but now numbers 20,000 --(other sources say it is 50,000 --ed.)

opine: We remember even recently when McCain was complaining about "barrel bombs" and so on...

Moqtada Al-Sadr's 'peace brigade' army soldiers head towards Amerli, to free the city from isis siege. The signs on their trucks read 'We are coming Amerli'.

Sayid Moqtada has answered the call of the oppressed Shia in Amerli, who are facing genocide.

Urgent!!

Two explosions in Karbala, very close to the Holy Shrines. See pics.

May Allah curse these devil worshipers that seek to shed Shia blood. If this was in a Sunni neighborhood or Sunni province, or Sunni mosque the news would go bezerk with people posting comments like 'Kill Shia terrorists'. But only the Shia care for the Shia, and everyone else cares for the Sunnis. How can we consider these people our brothers if after we take them in as refugees and look after them, they backstab us and set off explosions.

These kinds of explosions have been going on waaay before ISIS hit the scene. But nobody talks about that, because Shia lives are worthless compared to Sunni lives.

Dear brother, there's a clear distinction between a sunni and a salafi-sunni.

So stupid! May Allah destroy these imbecils who are the lowest of the low, and deserve hell for eternity! They are now trying to pin us shias for doing such disgusting acts, so shias and sunnis fight. Shias dont do such things.

Iraq crisis: Suicide blast targets Baghdad Shia mosque

At least nine people have been killed in a suicide bomb attack on a Shia mosque in Baghdad, Iraqi officials say.

The attacker detonated his explosive vest during noon prayers in the south-eastern area of New Baghdad.

It comes days after Shia militiamen were accused of killing some 70 people at a Sunni mosque to the north-east.

In short: He says that Sayed Sistani didn't come with a fatwa when there was crisis in Iraq (e.g the bombing of al-Askariyan).. Sayed Sistani came with a fatwa when a sunni-city was attacked etc.

isis declared its responsibility on the attack.

What happened was that a group of ISIS went to the Sunni mosque and tried to convince the clerics and leaders to join them and afford to them the needed shelter and assistance.

Sunnis refused, ISIS man blown out himself killing tens of Sunnis in Mosque. Shia armed forces including the militia which are the truly ones keeping Iraq safe rushed to the site for protection and help.

Syd. Ali declared Jihad when Iraq was sold. Sunni politician sold iraq to Satan, Shia politician sold iraq to Satan. Iraqi regular Sunnis and Iraqi regular Shia sold Iraq to Satan. US,UK,France,NATO,Israel,Saudi, Qataris, Turkey and jordan all sold iraq.(Iranians sold it to Maliki who was incompetent and ready to sell every drop of Iraqi blood just to secure for himself a third term).

Even Iraqi expats, academics, lawyers and intellectuals sold Iraq. It is forgotten, unimportant and deserve what it gets because it is following iran or following the iranian Sistani or whatever divisive thoughts they produced.

There is hardly any recognizable activism by Iraqis outside of Iraq, not even an online activism.

Sistani declared Jihad to save what can be saved.

Nato willing to intervene in Iraq Nato chief says calls for help from Iraqi government will be considered

British forces face the prospect of greater involvement in Iraq after the head of Nato said any request for military assistance would be “considered constructively”.

Anders Fogh Rasmussen, the Nato Secretary General, said: "Nato has a partnership with Iraq and if there is a request for further enhancement of that partnership, I think Nato allies would consider such a request constructively."

“The international community has a responsibility to stop the advance of the so-called Islamic state,” he added. Mr Ramussen welcomed US bombing raids on Isil fighters and contribution of British forces so far.

Nato decisions on whether to launch military action require consent from all member states, meaning Britain would not be committed against its will.

Mr Rasmussen said France should listen to Nato allies that have criticised the sale of £1 billion Mistral-class warships to Russia.

David Cameron has said the deal would be “unthinkable” in the wake of Russian aggression in eastern Ukraine.

"I'm not going to interfere with a national French decision,” said Mr Rasmussen.

"That's not for Nato - it's a bilateral arrangement between France and Russia but I have full confidence the French government will take its decisions taking into account concerns raised by other allies and taking into account the overall security situation in Europe.

The message and demands of the marginalized protestors who became rebels-proto da3ish (2013): We will take over Baghdad, we will take over Ahwaz and return the lands to their rightful owners.

Don't only listen to that "MP", also have a look at the crowd around him chanting Allahu Akbar. They know that their Sunni politicians are corrupt and that they are the ones stealing the treasury of their provinces YET they are gleefully chanting Allahu Akbar for something other than their rightful demands
