"One of the unique theories of Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (a.s.) is that everything except Allah has its opposites, but this does not result in a conflict, otherwise the whole universe would be destroyed. This is the theory of matter and anti-matter. The difference between matter and anti-matter is that in matter the electrons are negatively charged and protons are positively charged. I found this pretty funny. In other words, The Imam said everything has an opposite (which is already mentioned in the Quran), therefore because of that the Imam introduced the theory of matter and anti-matter.

I wonder who writes this kind of stuff!

What is/are the proof of God/Allah according to the Shia alim-the best of them khomeini & such?

I find Tabatabai's version of the Burgan Sidiqeen the best.

We all know beyond a shadow of a doubt that there is a reality. This reality cannot not exist because if that were true then that itself would be a reality, (in other words, "there not being a reality would itself be a reality" (which is a contradiction). So, there must necessarily be a reality. And this reality is essentially One and Simple--- it cannot be essentially many, it cannot be a compound of different realities --- because if there were many realities then there cannot be anything besides reality to distinguish it's many parts. This reality is, cannot lack in any kind of quality. It is Knowing, Alive, Seeing, Hearing, Powerful, Loving, Compassion, Just..etc. Any positive quality you can conceive of, it has it (actually, it IS it). The reason is because these qualities are real and determine what makes a thing real. So, how can reality itself not be these realities (how can it not possess these qualities in the most complete and perfect manner?). These qualities ARE in fact nothing but this One reality itself.

I don't expect everyone to find this convincing (because this is a thought process, a way to make you think for yourself) But I have always been in love with ontological arguments. Especially arguments which are not "really" arguments but which make you look inwardly for God. Because God must be a reality that is self-evidently known.. (Otherwise what kind of God would NOT be self-evident!).

I absolutely love this argument brother. Could you share more sources and books (preferebly free and online) but i don't mind buying as well.

I am sorry. I realized how many typos I made!

edit: that reality cannot not exist. Because if there were a situation or a circumstance where reality does not exist, then that situation or circumstance would itself be a reality. So, because there cannot be a reality or no reality (because there cannot be a contradictory state of affairs), reality cannot not be, it must necessarily exist.

There is a book entities, A commentary on Theistic arguments! it is buy Javadi Amuli. In there he lists many proofs for God's existence. In one of those proofs he mentions this one. It is called "Burhaan As-Siddiqeen".

According to Allama Tabatabai in his book Shia Islam, God can be proven by two methods.

 

1.) The being itself, made up of consciousness and existence, is the biggest proof of God. You and I exist and there is an underlying Existence because of which we exist. The closer we are to the Existence, the more we exist. 

2.) Since it is hard to believe something without material proof, the second proof of God are physical. Apart from the basic existential proofs of God, the portents which are present all around us prove to be the more popular proofs of God. All that is made has a minor exterior and a major interior. All that appears around us in a harmonic nature, is a manifestation of God, from which we have to admit, not only His Existence, but the limitlessness of His Existence. Quran proves the point as follows:


It is He who sends down rain from the sky; from it is drink and from it is foliage in which you pasture [animals].

He causes to grow for you thereby the crops, olives, palm trees, grapevines, and from all the fruits. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who give thought.

And He has subjected for you the night and day and the sun and moon, and the stars are subjected by His command. Indeed in that are signs for a people who reason.

And [He has subjected] whatever He multiplied for you on the earth of varying colors. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who remember.

And it is He who subjected the sea for you to eat from it tender meat and to extract from it ornaments which you wear. And you see the ships plowing through it, and [He subjected it] that you may seek of His bounty; and perhaps you will be grateful.

And He has cast into the earth firmly set mountains, lest it shift with you, and [made] rivers and roads, that you may be guided,

And landmarks. And by the stars they are [also] guided.

Then is He who creates like one who does not create? So will you not be reminded?

And if you should count the favors of Allah , you could not enumerate them. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

What do you mean you didn't understand it? Read the text brother, it's a well known (probably one of the most famous) Shi'i theological works dealing with the topic your posted about.

There is also another very simple argument for God's existence.

Each an every one of us loves beauty, knowledge, life, mercy, and power. We also never seem to be satisfied with anything. The more we get the more want. If you are given power, you want more power. If you have beauty, you can always have more beauty. If you are enjoying a blissful state, things can always be more blissful and happy. If you have knowledge, you still desire more and more knowledge. What all this means therefore is that we love infinite beauty, infinite power, infinite bliss, infinite knowledge. We simply love the infinite! Now we all know that nothing in the world is finite because the world is unable to satisfy our wants (it is inherently limited). And yet we love the infinite. Love is not possible if there isn't something which is loved. So we know love exists and therefore we know that the beloved (the infinite) exists as well.

there are only three posibilities about existance.

One.. The object is not possible to exist: for example if one says, it is day, other says it is night and third one say both are wrong then third one is definitely wrong.

Second: The object is possible but it requires some prerequisites, without which it is not possible. For example to make water we need oxygen, hydrogen and a proper environment. If this all combine the water will be made otherwise not.

Third: object already exist and it does not need any thing for its existance. He is already present and He is the actual source for any thing that exist. He is present before time and before the question of when. He exist without the need for anyone. He is self sustained. He is not a compound that need its parts before its existance. He is not dependent on others so they create Him. He is present everywhere so He can not have a body. He has no end.

These are some views.

Everything that is in motion need someone who initiate movement

Everything that change its character needs someone to change its character

Everything that grow need some one who make it grow

Everything on which time passes need some start

 

so these properties if you find in someone can not be Allah. Allah is beyond time, He is not in motion, He is full in Himself, He does not change, grow and time does not pass on Him
