Wife Singing To Husband

Rate this topic

Ok, so an issue has been raised to me -
Is it halal for a woman to sing words of love for her husband?

Seeing as singing within itself is haram, is it an exception if it pleases the husband?

I cannot find anything on Sistani's page.

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Singing (al-ghinã’) is harãm: doing it, listening to it, or living of it. By

“singing — al-ghinã’,” I mean an amusing statement expressed in the tunes

that are suitable for those who provide entertainment and amusement.

Wassalamu Alaykum

Note: So, you must figure out what type of singing it is.

A. It is permissible provided that the husband does not derive any pleasure or comfort from such an action . As a precautionary measure , if the husband begins to feel pleasure , the wife must cease immediately and revert back to more obligatory forms of nagging and constant annoying.

Lol

Seriously no-one asks is it permissible to annoy my husband. What is the fatwa regarding the same? :)

If the husband does not derive pleasure , and happiness and entertainment and even romance, from the singing of his wife, what does he derive out of it, then?

This makes no sense.

i thought dancing for the husband is halal im pretty sure i heard that ages ago in a lecture by a respectable scholar. so if dancing in general is haram (even ladies cant dance in front of other ladies) except in front of ur husband then doesnt the same apply to singing?

I do not remember the istinbath from the Al Qur'anul Karim, but i still remember this  :

Anything from the world is halal/free to human except what is forbidden (haram)

Anything which is ibadah is haram except what is commanded
