Westerner 0 Report post Posted April 27, 2014 This has been reported on some Christian web sites, but does this Hadith really exist? Is Barack Obama the “promised warrior” coming to help the Hidden Imam of Shiite Muslims conquer the world? The question has made the rounds in Iran since last month, when a pro-government Web site published a Hadith (or tradition) from a Shiite text of the 17th century. The tradition comes from Bahar al-Anvar (meaning Oceans of Light) by Mullah Majlisi, a magnum opus in 132 volumes and the basis of modern Shiite Islam.According to the tradition, Imam Ali Ibn Abi-Talib (the prophet’s cousin and son-in-law) prophesied that at the End of Times and just before the return of the Mahdi, the Ultimate Saviour, a “tall black man will assume the reins of government in the West.” Commanding “the strongest army on earth,” the new ruler in the West will carry “a clear sign” from the third imam, whose name was Hussein Ibn Ali. The tradition concludes: “Shiites should have no doubt that he is with us.”In a curious coincidence Obama’s first and second names–Barack Hussein–mean “the blessing of Hussein” in Arabic and Persian. His family name, Obama, written in the Persian alphabet, reads O Ba Ma, which means “he is with us,” the magic formula in Majlisi’s tradition.
Hannibal 968 Report post Posted April 28, 2014 (edited) This has been reported on some Christian web sites, but does this Hadith really exist? I have never seen this tradition and doubt that it exists in the way described above, and Bihar al-Anwar is 110 vols, not 132. Grengo 26 Report post Posted April 28, 2014 (edited) أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم I seek refuge in Allah from Shaitan, the accursed one. In the Name of Allah, the All-Beneficent, the All-Mercifulاللهم صل على محمد وآل محمد و عجل فرجهم و العن عدوهم My God, send peace and blessings upon Muhammad and the progeny of Muhammad, and hasten the reappearance of our Imam and curse their enemies Salam, lol this is nonsense. I highly doubt a zionist house negro who has helped in the massacre of Muslim nations, especially Syria, is said person, assuming this hadith even exists and is authentic. Also, "o ba ma" does not mean "he is with us" in Farsi/Persian. It could be said "oon ba ma," but even that is slang, because Iranians often pronounce alif as waw when speaking informally/slang, so the actual sentence would be "Aon ba ma" (آن با ما). Fun facts: The place the name 'Barak' is most popular is Israel. The name 'Obama' is also often associated with Jewish Africans from the Horn of Africa, many of whom went to Israel after its creation. Obama's (la) mother is also white and there are indications she's Israeli. Saddam's last name was also 'Hussein', that doesn't mean that he was a Shia or a helper of the Shia, but quite the opposite. Wa salam Edited April 28, 2014 by Grengo
rkazmi33 1,112 Report post Posted April 28, 2014 Few months ago, there was a woman on shiachat, she made a post that she was working for Obama and Imam Mehdi (A.S.). It's strange because Obama is fighting with Iran and he is helping AlQaeda in Syria. There are only 2 years left for his presidency, does this mean it could happen in 2 years? Chaotic Muslem 5,773 Report post Posted April 28, 2014 This has been reported on some Christian web sites, but does this Hadith really exist?not in the way they interpreted it. Many traditions gave various descriptions of the End of Times events, generally the Shia avoid to speculate on what shall be the event that belongs to the End of Times. Some events seem to have happened, some seem to have happened quite a number of times. We should keep in mind that the enemies who attempt to confuse people had used these traditions to create an event similar to the one described in the books. If you are interested in knowing Imam Mahdi, i'll try to find a good link, if your quest is only to inquire about the connection between barak obama and the shia traditions then it is safe to say that this connection is from the imagination.
