Salam Brother and Sisters,

I need a lots of advice in this matter from experience brothers here. I belong to India ( and as we all know, life there is like living on poverty line, please dont suggest me pros of living here as i know) .

Im shia muslim, middle class family person (if i was rich i could migrate easily). I want to move out of this country so please suggest where and how can i do that, i know here alots of people must have detailed info on this as they migrated themselves so plz guide me through.

As people will generally suggest Canada, Australia or UK. So i searched and found out, for Canada fill form must have aprox 10 Lakhs INR and wait for 3 years without any surity, Austaralia not much different. UK makes no sense.

Even sometime I think to migrate to Iran as it much above in living conditions as compared to india (Its well known and calculated fact)

but even for iran i dont is there any way to do so.

Freinds please suggest me, ur advice is highly important for me.

No post hijacking and useless lectures please.

Bismehe Ta3ala,

Wa Alikum Assalam Wa Rahamah.

Brother, take a look at this site.  Insh'Allah you will be selected if that is what Allah swt wants you to go.  If he wants you to stay in India, there is a reason brother, and it is better for you.  Allahu a3lam, where He wants you to be.

Apply for refugee status in England, say you're a Shia and you are being persecuted and your life is in danger. It might work too. You being a muslim in India where hindus want to kill you. You being a Shi'a where other "muslims" want to kill you too.

That won't work at all I'm afraid. The only way, given the circumstances, is to apply for asylum based on "gay muslim marriage persecution". I know that sounds terribly silly but thats that. That actually has a quite good chance to work. Of course the case evidence has to be convincing.

Or, just stay where you are. I refused job offers in Saudia, UAE and UK. Better to earn dimes with dignity and peace of mind than to be a third rate citizen in a place where none like you, and which is filled by wahabis, satanists and other sort you never wish to meet. UK is the founder of Wahabiism and every thing we hate. Its inhuman and treacherous crimes from the days of East India company are convincing enough for me that its better not to be in UK.

Ur solution is really promising but i cant do that as u know in our religion is completly forbiden thing. And i personally dont like to shift to UK as its bristishers are most racist in whole world personal experience.

Brother living in India has no future even we dont get electricity and basic needs and as shia we suffer from both sides, in jobs and society we suffer as muslim and in muslim we suffer due to shia, so i want to move where atleast have a basic needs. (Life is not as it seems on movies here brothers :( )

But as above comment i feel its very hard to move.

Even shia companies in Australia,US and Canada didnt help there brothers to get jobs etc (just my thinking)

I think some one might still be able to help. Especially those based in UAE because that place faced a major exodus of workers a couple of years ago. People working in companies in UAE can easily hook you up. People you may know in real life or otherwise. I recommend you use the internet, search at Linkedin, or ask your real life contacts who may be in touch with such people. Posting about it especially here on SC will not solve anything. Big changes often require big efforts.

I applied for thousands of jobs that I was qualified for. Thousands, no exaggeration. I got a few calls and interviews, mostly through LinkedIn. I finally got a job through a listing on LinkedIn. It wasn't exactly what I wanted but was better than starvation and homelessness so I took it. That job led to the good job that I have now. I hope to stay with my present company until I retire.

So keep seeking and applying for those jobs!

Fascinating. Are there no wahabis at your work place?

Not one.

I and this one guy in IT are the only Muslims as far as I know. Lots of Catholics, and most Catholics are pretty easygoing.

Wa alaikum assalam.

There are two main ways to immigrate to common western countries, get a job or become a student.

If you're qualified and can secure a job in your target country, that the best case but it's rare.

Alternatively, get a job in an international company in your home country, and after you work for it for a few years you can often apply for similar positions abroad.

Else apply to a university (a masters degree, if you hold a bachelors) to get a foot in the door - you'll take on debt by the time you're graduated, but hopefully (if you perform well) a local job is easy to get and you can stay on pay it off in a few years. This is difficult to do nowadays in the UK, students are no longer allowed to stay for a year or two after their postgraduate degrees to look for work, but look up other countries.

Australia and Canada and relatively good options if you're looking to become a citizen as soon as possible, but you might want to consider non-mainstream European countries that charge very little for education if you want to avoid debt and secure (arguably) better standard of living.

No I am in the US and I got a job in the US. LinkedIn is a pretty good site for job listings, but you are still going to have to research the companies to figure out which ones will sponsor visas. Don't give up. You might apply for jobs several per day for years like I did. If you are applying for jobs that are within your qualifications, eventually you will find one.

Here's a list of European countries some of whom offer low fee higher education even for students from outside of the EU: http://www.mastersportal.eu/articles/405/tuition-fees-at-universities-in-europe-overview-and-comparison.html

Thanks bro, i went through these and i researched myself too, but only problem is cost of living there as u need to show a particular amount in ur bank befre u can come there :(

Have you considered New Zealand bro ?

Much more relaxed and easier to get into than OZ .

and once you're in , you can get to Oz or anywhere else ?

But first you have to learn to do the Haka  , and play footy .

and be careful of the killer sheep there .

ws

Yaaa i went through Newzealand and i love the country.

It easy to get Silver visa for job search there but for that u need 10lakhs and more for visa for 6 months thats a big amount.

Ru in new zealand can u tell me more about there process ??

That's true, but if you don't have enough money for the living expenses you can apply for a bank loan.

If I remember correctly, you would first apply to the university and get accepted, then take their offer of admission and finances documentation (among other things) to apply for a visa. Most large banks make education loans so it won't be an unprecedented thing... if you don't have enough assets you can try convincing someone with them to be your guarantor.

What have you studied and worked on so far, by the way? That could help others contribute (if they know things about your area) as well.

Salam bro, I am in Canada, and not very well-versed in immigration help, I am still a student.

However, the Province of Alberta here has crazy job opportunities, people are much in demand there, and even to Saskatchewan.

They want to grow, and therefore want more people to take their jobs.

Be a part of this:

https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/toronto_shia_community/info

Join this, this groups and like-minded groups across the internet is like ShiaChat, but filled with people in their 40s and up,  or the 'uncle-types' lol, they constantly talk politics, community issues, some drama, and help with immigrations.

A well-detailed response will go a long way there I am sure.

Also, apply for Masters at a University, or if money is an issue, apply to a community college (less-ideal since they aren't as good) but do so in Alberta so you are in Canada in a region where taxes are low and jobs are high.

Study (cause you have to) and work part-time in the evening/night, after you complete your education, apply for residency as soon as your are eligible.

You might have to struggle a lot, depends on your priorities, just make sure you never miss any deadline.

Hope this helped.
