(salam)

I can not understand what make you think that it is not going to be Jaiz?! and may be I am not famelier whit the Adult Toys FActory!!!

but I made a short search via internet i did not find any thing that make your business Haram.

about Alisayyed said:

No it is not jaiz.

Why?

It is intended to spread immorality for profit.

And they will not be having hijabi images on their website, of course.

using women not wearing Hijab, while they are non-Muslim and have usual wearing as western woman have is not going to make a business.

it would be better to base our reply on references of Maraje website.

as I am in doubt about the topic, any clarification would be appreciated

thanks in advance!

Salam,

We all know that many of these "toys" promote sexual acts which are haram in islam. Acts such as masturbation.

So just like anything else that promotes anti islamic principles it is most probably not jaiz to participate in it be it through production or enhancment.

Firsly,I think you are not even allowed to gaze upon a woman (Muslim or non-Muslim), then how do you propose not using them in your website? Secondly, what are these things used for? (you probably have the answer)

I've never been to these websites but I'm sure promoting this kind of stuff can never be "Jaiiz" :S

Brother, do not work there. Reject the offer. This is not a respectable place to work at and since the activity of the business is haram, the offer should not be accepted at any cost.

In my humble opinion, It isn't haram at all. You are merely designing a website for them, not going into their shops and selling people sex toys yourself. It's like being an accountant in a MNC where mind you big companies are invested in alot of immoral stuff.

So go for it, bro. And I wish you luck.

By saying 'not hijabi images', i meant the opposite. That you will find porn images on the site. Hence, the need to stay away from it.

This is sad of course it is haram to spread corruption. Anyone who says this is ok should be ashamed of himself.

Promoting debauchery through advertisements or imagery which has the potential to lead others to commit acts of fornication or other such sins brings down sins upon yourself, whether you intended for that to happen or not. If we can get sins simply from giving advice we view as beneficial but in reality leads a person to sin then imagine it on a scale of multiple people constantly being led to sins thanks to your imagery.

We are all one big family that influence each other to do either right or wrong through the choices we make, intentionally or unintentionally.

Abrar7866, use your mind, if your designing a website you will attach images and you will make the site attractive. Think about it your design will sell the product, too.

If your coding and not attaching any images then maybe it's okay but the whole thing is disgusting. Your not in need of this money, anything like this you should back away from...

Your making you clean hand's drity, that's the simpliest thing I can tell you. You dont need a scholer to tell you that it's eithically not allowed..

=/ Yeah its perfectly okay, and while you're at it ask them for free vibrating toys that may fit you and send one each to Ali-F and El-Cid too.

Your disgusting....

Bismehe Ta3ala,

Assalam Alikum.

Brother Abrar,

Who cares about money, when this job you will be doing causes fasad (corruption) in the land?  Why would you want anything to do with this job or these type of people?

May Allah swt guide you brother.  Make l3nat on shaitain and his lethal whispers, brother.  Don't EVER let money come in your way in following deen al haqq!

It seems that designing their website would require promoting an immoral lifestyle.

At a previous employment I was required to offer advice to private citizens and business owners. One day I was called to a business to help them with their parking lot drainage. Much to my horror, it turned out to be an "adult novelties and video" shop. I certainly couldn't go inside, but I needed to do my job of offering advice on their parking lot drainage. I ended up calling the business owner and asking him to meet me outside to discuss what he should do.

The work that I did in no way promoted his business. It was a service my employer offered to all townspeople. But it made me uncomfortable enough that I came very close to risking my job by refusing to do it. I can't even imagine that there would be a question about whether you can or should design their website.

Salaam brother.

I supposed I gave you the answer but maybe it is necessary to repeat it; this job is, at least, helping for spreading sin in society and the Qur'an, explicitly, considers it as Haraam.

وَ لا تَعاوَنُوا عَلَى الْإِثْمِ وَ الْعُدْوانِ وَ اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ شَديدُ الْعِقاب

And do not help one another in sin and aggression and be careful of) your duty to (Allah Surely Allah is severe in requiting (evil) (5:2)

With Duas

You can think it as helping such haram shop too boost their business. I would recommend not to take such offer. Simply said it's like an helping haram shop. If you are following Sayed sistani, then you can send him a question about your issue or if you want to get answer fast, then go to www.najaf.org and send him a question there, you probably get answer in few days.
