شرح نهج البلاغه ج16 ص263       و حديث فدك و حضور فاطمة عند أبي بكر كان بعد عشرة أيام من وفاة رسول الله ص‏

ibn abi al-hadid says:

the event of fadak and coming of Fatima sa. to the Mosque (Fadak sermon) took place ten days after the demise of the Holy prophet  (pbuh)

v.16 p.263

some shia historians believe the event of taking allegiance (burning the house) took place after that.

Salamun alaykum

It seems that first they tried to get Bayat. So saqifa and attacking the house of Hazrat Fatima (sa) occurred first then after governing the community they extorted Fadak.

Bismillah.

Salaam to all.

Reviewing historical events, we find out that usurping the land of Fadak is historically prior to the event of burning of Lady Fatima’s (s) house:

I think whether you didn’t read the site carefully or you have mistaken about the word “prior”.

It seems that first they tried to get Bayat. So saqifa and attacking the house of Hazrat Fatima (sa) occurred first then after governing the community they extorted Fadak.

So at the time Abubakr was the caliph and ordered extorting Fadak and that’s why Hazrat Fatima went to Abubakr affirming that Fadak is her own property.

salam;

According to the historical facts it seems that khutbah  al-Fadakyah delivered by Lady Fatimah al-Zahra(pbuh) was prior to that harsh attack made the lady being seriously injured and  at last resulted in her martyrdom.

History says; Abubaker soon  about 10 days  after prophet when he came to power through Saghifah  first arrogated Fadak boycotting Ahlulbayt as well as imposing serious limits on them in order to guarantee that Ahlulbayt, no longer would have money to support people stand against illegitimate power Abubaker and other disobedient Sahabah had been planned and sacrificed for it.

For more information please refer to ibn abi al-Hadid  "Sharhe nahjulblagheh" and  "Furugh welayat" book of Ayatullah Subhani.

Is there any proof that the khutbah happened after the attack on Fatima (pbuh) house?

Because Fatima (pbuh) died due to the attack which wounded her, and caused her a miscarriage.

So didn't Fatima (pbuh) die soon after the attack on her house?

I may be wrong.

Salam as long as i know  regarding the stories and some other incidents took place that time,  all reinforce the idea that attack happened latter, and very soon she was martyr due to what went on there. pls for more information refer to this book(كتاب سليم بن قيس الهلالي) page 915.
