This was heard almost like a cliche during the mubarak era whenever the western media referred to the MB..."the outlawed MB brotherhood of Egypt who are supported by iran" ....then  comes the Egyptian revolution, they are then are elected to power, what do they do?...they declare shia's as heretics and insight a mass lynching of harmless local minority shias and also declare jihad against Syria and hezbollah...Once these morons are overthrown by the military they are then put on trial and Mursi their leader is then charged with a string of crimes and one of them, for giving up "sensitive Egyptian intelligence" to, of all countries, Iran...

I really couldn't care less about any of them backstabbing morons, they forgot who their real enemy was, and once they grabbed a little bit of power, they showed off their true evil takfiri roots, and of coarse their lack of political intellect, having burned all their bridges with any political allies. Im now convinced that their is no antidote to cure the MB of its evil natue, from Syria, hama in 1982 to Algeria in the 90's to once again in Syria and Egypt 2010's, the MB has an obsession with mob lynching, decapitation and torture as a means to sort out its problems.

How can they seek and demand justice while they disregard it.

Morsi and also the Muslim Brotherhood party (Ikhwan) were affected by Wahhabi thought and they were against Shia so first Morsi traveled to Saudi and then maintained the previous disconnection with Iran, ignored the murder of Hassan Shehata, supported terrorism is Syria and etc.

Although I am not glad of internal dispute among Muslims, I think it is obvious that they had extreme political-religious idea so they could not govern their country in a rational way.

The problem is that it is highly unlikely that all these people are actually guilty, and this might end up being used as a propaganda tool (if you can even call it that) to recruit and radicalise new members

A much better headline would have been ''Egypt Executes Leaders Of Muslims Brotherhood''

What is the Islamic Republic of Irans position on this?

When Morsi was in power, he severed ties with Syria and was extremely anti Shia. However when he was ousted in the coup, Iran came out against the coup?

Actually from the first, as I know, Iran didn’t support all MB groups. Muslim Brotherhood included of three different political stand point one of which is Morsi who thought that he was one of the Saudi’s ally and after election initially he travelled to Saudi. But Iran didn’t support Morsi and even in the election Iran was pro Morsi’s adversary form MB.

However after election, Iran decided to start a new relation with Egypt due to having the same target which was Israel but they refused. Regardless his propensity, Morsi went to the summit of NAM (Non-Aligned Movement) which held in Iran and started his speech by blessing Abu-Bakr and Umar and then he leaved the summit without visiting the leader “Ayatullah Khamenei”.

So simply supporting MB doesn’t meant that Iran was supporting Morsi or his stand point. But to defend Israel and also to decrease America’s influence from the region, the Youth of the Egyptian Revolution had the best tendency and that was a good reason for Iran to support them.

Morsi and his group had a Wahhabi thought and they refused to reform their relation with Shia so they insist on attacking Syria. On the other hand Al-Sisi is one of the America’s ally and also pro-Israel.

So Iran would not support each but also is against coup because Iran believe in democracy as one of its doctrine. So I think, Iran would not interfere but just invite them to a free election.
