Sunni Sacrifices Himself To Save Leb Shi'a Town

Reminding all long history, Shia and Sunni were close together without problems. Even nowadays we obviously see they are living beside each other perfectly.

But what makes that hard is the beliefs of Wahhabism which considers all sunni and shii muslims as Kāfir so the first demonstrators against Wahhabis were also sunni scholars.

Shia and Sunni may have some disparities in detailed but their main principles are the same and they consider each other Muslim. So the should be together as Quran orders:

و اعتصموا بِحبل الله جميعا و لا تفرقوا

Hold fast, all together, to Allah's cord, and do not be divide (3/103)

may Allah reward him in Jannah...

And this is why labels and self styled titles mean nothing in reality rather its actually our actions alone that define us. This man was a true Muhammadan, a follower, a believer. How exemplary. He must have and I pray that he hastily achieves ultimate comfort and peace of paradise.

BTW, the story about the Christian soldier was old and it was put in to remind people.

^^^ how about that Christian who died saving Muslims?

Why not nice words for him? I say Allah swt grants him heavens too or whatever the best He has chosen for selfless sincere humans.

the article is very sectarian, as if a person's religion defines his patriotism.

They made the point of stating the soldier was a Christian. The Army is filled with all religions in Lebanon and they act for the interests of the State not their religious belief.
