New video footage has emerged showing the summary execution of 15 Iraqi soldiers by al-Qaeda-linked militants in the west of the country.

Posted online on Friday, the video shows 15 people being massacred by militants from the so-called Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) in Iraq’s Anbar province.

It was not possible to determine how the soldiers ended up in the hands of the terrorists or when the killing took place.

Iraq has witnessed a surge in deadly attacks including bombings and shootings in recent months.

The latest incidents of violence came at a time when Iraqi troops, backed by local Sunni tribesmen, are fighting al-Qaeda-affiliated militants in the country’s western regions, including Anbar province.

Iraq’s Interior Ministry has said that militants have launched an open war in Iraq and they want to push the Middle Eastern country into chaos.

Official figures say some 1,013 people were killed in January alone, making it the deadliest month in Iraq since April 2008.

When you know that once the Sunni militants, be it ISIL or any other garbage group, once catch you, they will torture you and KILL you in a most brutal fashion, then why not fight to the death! 15 soldiers captured? You mean soldiers as in army? With guns? What; were they drugged and asleep? If no bullets left, they gotta fight with their knives and stones... Sunni militants are not Hizbullah to send wounded-Takfiris to the hospital or imprison the captured ones. They are there to KILL and behead.

I saw it last week, mad respect to the second last guy who stood on his knees, back straightened up, and head held high even when some of his comrades fell on their knees before being shot.

The video I watched was 45 mins long, showing how they were captured, and pin pointing locations on Google Maps.

There are other videos of the Iraqi Army/Syrian Army/National Defence Force/ Kurds/and even their own FSA and Islamic Front members being beheaded with blunt knives slowly, just to inflict maximum pain.

Others exist were these savages are putting holes in people, putting heads on spiked gates for decorations, using anti-aircraft gun on people were they turn to pieces in mere seconds, and what not, all backed with nasheeds and Quranic recitation in the background.

Even in Syria, every position they retreat from, they leave behind a mass grave of 45-50 people casually, these guys have even killed Iraqi truck drivers, and everyone else, heck their 'Shari'i' judges did takfeer on the Taliban and Bin Laden for not as extreme as them, and their leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi lanat ullah seeks to establish a global Khilafah one day.

They are a new kind of savage, I have utter respect on the brave who fight them.

This sick in the head stuff is only getting started.

The Long Resistance needs training --including self-training and education-- to fight Hezshatan in "muslim" dress and the evilgelicals.

The Long War against Islam needs the Long Resistance.

Asalam Alykum,

You do realize it is far more easier to kidnap a soldier as compare to a normal person. A normal person can be unpredictable. You cannot predict how he or she would react. A soldier however is trained by the book. They have a routine, a set of associated behaviors. That is the reason why terrorists are hard to beat because they blend into the population. They are normal people with a secret. That is why its harder to catch them. These people who are terrorist sit and study their target. Its like hunting, just stand around and observe quietly. Once you know someone's routine, once you know what time they do what, you will know what time are they physically weakest and emotionally drained. In an army, its just that much more easier because the battalion is predictable and you'll know exactly what a soldier will do.

Ma'Salam.

I squarely put the blame on Iranian govt who kept on insisting that if Americans got out then Iraqis would greet one another with red roses. And they are nowhere to be seen now when Iraq is drowning in the quicksands of terrorism.

Had US stayed in Iraq, things would have been far better now in terms of security, economy, administration etc.
