First of all my condolences to Imam zaman (as) ,all you momineen o mominaat and Rahbar Syed Ali khamenei on this occasion.

 

In this thread i will post the problems faced by pakistani shias in this holy month of muharram.so we all can be aware of what is going on in pakistan and may be inshallah we get a bigger picture of what the great devil and its allies are trying to achieve.

 

i pray to God that may Allah guard every muslim in every aspect and give us the love of Imam Hussain (as) and give us taufeeq to follow him (as)

Pre-Muharram shia killings in Karachi

 

2 days before the start of muharram,6 shias got killed in the biggest city of pakistan i.e karachi.

 

Federal Government and its policies

 

Almost a week before the start of this holy month,a provincial minister of ruling party(in federation as well as in punjab which is biggest and most resourceful province of pakistan) appeared on tv in a press conference and announced that there will be no majalis and juloos(processions) but those who are registered with government so we can manage their security effectively(you all know about effective security of shias in pakistan-sarcasm) 

section 144 was applied which prohibit an assembly of more than ten people in an area.

on 3rd day of muharram,in the city of Gujranwala,punjab 

 

Imam of the Imam bargha in Shahrukh Colony was killed while he was in the middle of recitation.

Two worshippers were killed in a separate firing incident the same morning at an Imam bargha in the Mominpur area.

A point which is to be noted is that Gujranwala was a relatively peaceful city and there was almost none shia killing and shia-sunni fighting.

takfiri terrorists attacked an Imam Bargah and injured several Shiites in Shahdad Kot, Sindh province on 1st muharram

 

Sindh province’s District Thatta staged a sit-in outside of the area police station on Saturday to protest against the armed attack on a Majlis-e-Aza in which nine Shiites were injured on Friday night.

 

Protests were arranged for both incidents in their own areas.

 

In Karachi, intelligence agencies captured two terrorists of outlawed Taliban foiling their bid to attack Ashura procession.They were captured on 8 november.

Another important event that took place was the immense pressure of Government of punjab province on the administration of Muhammadi masjid Gulberg,Lahore.

 

Now this is something very technical.

First of all,you guys should know about the speaker who was banned to recite majlis.

 

His name is Syed jawaad naqvi.He is very famous in iran as well as pakistan and he is principle of an islamic seminary here in lahore.He used to teach philosophy in Qum,iran.

He has also delivered several lectures to the youth of iran and baseejis.He wrote a book on velvet revolution which is quite famous in iran.

He has wrote several books in urdu too.He is student of Ayatullah Jawaadi Amoli.

 

Now the thing is,this guy never fear of anyone and criticizes the wrong policies of government and other institutions bravely.

 

He was supposed to recite 10 majalis in that specific mosque.He spoke openly in his first majlis.

i was in majlis myself.

After 1st majlis authorities pressurized mosque's administration to stop the syed.Few guys who were in administration met with Syed Jawaad Naqvi and discussed their issues and asked him to not to say something against govt,or politicians or army or anyone and just recite what is on books and not to talk about current affairs and stuff like that but he refused.

 

He recited his 2nd majlis at the same place.

 

Before the start of his 3rd majlis,his security guard who was going in the premises of mosque with his concealed weapon was stopped by police.Police claimed he was breaching the section 144 which states it is illegal to showcase any weapon.But the security guard said that he was carrying it under his shirt.Long story short,police arrested him but when the guys who were attending majlis knew about this,they protested and police had to free the guy.they still have his weapon.

 

After this incident police talked to administration and after their talks administration refused to accommodate syed jawaad naqvi for further majalis.There was huge protests against the weak behavior of mosque's administration.

 

Here is video of protest in masjid where the youth is chanting the slogans of Labbyk Ya Hussain (as) and Hihaat minna zilla and demanding to listen to syed jawaad naqvi and none else.They were angry on the behavior of administration who was agreeing with punjab govt.

 

He is continuing with his other majalis as scheduled in Aale imran school,lahore.

On Friday 25 Oct 2013, Colonel (retired) Shuja Khanzada, Shahbaz Sharif’s trusted lieutenant and Environment Minister of Punjab, announced that this time the month of Moharram will be regulated by the Punjab government with the following measures:

1. All unregistered Shia meetings (majalis) and processions (jaloos) will be banned.

2. Every Shia speaker will have to obtain a government license, or he/she will not be allowed to address the majalis.

3. Shia speakers will not be allowed to provoke people.

4. Shias will not be allowed to use loudspeakers for the majalis.

MUZAFFARGARH, Nov 2: The district administration has issued gagging orders for 33 ulema (scholars) and zakireen (orators) of Shia and Sunni sects ahead of Muharram to bar them from delivering provocative speeches in the district

Terror plot foiled

 

1-In faisalabad,punjab A terror plan was foiled by the police and police arrested five members of taliban group.Police recovered police uniforms, weapons and hand grenades from the possession of the terrorists. Source 

2-Capital police captured three terrorists from sector I-10 Islamabad.They belonged to yasin group.They were planning to plant bomb in muharram. Source

However the difference this time around is that we the Shiites are no longer united, I have seen shia groups on Facebook (and know of many people in person) who are actually supporting the ban on Agha Jawad, out of personal dislike/hatred. There are prominent Shiites in Lahore, which have been bought out by the government, and are often seen propagating for the government. One such “Allama” (the use of term here is purely sarcastic) takes pride in being the blue eyed boy of the Sharifs, and even on a day like Ashure, would first  shower praises on the “khadim-e-Ala” and only then will mourn the Imam.

Syed Jawwad Naqvi speaks with courage and tells the truth. It is unfortunate that truth is something that makes most of the people uncomfortable in our society. Like Jawwad Naqvi said in his 2nd lecture that our deen has abundance of "Aqidat" but not a lot of "Haqiqat".

Ali Gohar who sustained injuries when yazidi terrorists opened fire on him near Gambat station embraced shahadat succumbing to his injuries in Larkana Hospital ,it was learnt shortly. Body is being shifted to Gambat.

KARACHI: At least 16 people were reported injured from three consecutive blasts in Karachi, while at least six suspected terrorists were killed in a subsequent exchange of fire, Express News reported.

KARACHI - Three militants allegedly associated with the proscribed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan and one Rangers trooper were killed when a shootout took place during a targeted operation conducted by the paramilitary force in the Gulshan-e-Buner area on Wednesday. A Rangers spokesman said that the suspected Taliban militants were plotting attacks to be carried out during Muharram and opened fire when the Rangers team arrived in the vicinity to conduct a targeted operation. He further said that the three suspects were killed in retaliatory fire by the raiding team. The spokesman confirmed that one of the Rangers man, belonging to the Anti-Terrorist Wing, was killed and another injured during the clash, adding that a huge quantity of weapons, including hand grenades, were also recovered from the killed suspects. The suspects were also said to be involved in the attack on an imambargah in Karachi's Quaidabad area in September this year. The bodies of the suspected militants were handed over to the police for completion of legal formalities.
