Is anyone else looking forward to all "nonessential" functions of the government shutting down?

Congress still gets paid, the military keeps on killing, the prisons keep on imprisoning, etc.  The only real difference is that museums and parks will be closed :donno:

But it's still kinda cool to say that your government has shutdown :P

these are not overgrown babies... that's just a misnomer the media would like you to think...as if this all just "bickering"... In fact, these are powerful and ruthless adult calculating men and women - and they are representative of people who give not an even an iota of what you are tired off or not... the only thing they care about is how to stay in power - the difference between them is minimal, and this little more than political theater - the end result will be less for the 99% and more for the 1%

An overgrown baby is one who cares about nothing but his or herself.....doesn't matter how ruthless or calculating.

China won't be selling just yet, too dependent on the US market at the moment... once other markets begin to fully develop - and once China's own products reach a certain level of quality... China will dump the US like a rotten egg ... diversify your holdings... and get some physical gold coins ... the chinese panda coins are good... one 1/10 ounce a month is not too much ... and will give something to fall back upon in the next decade or so... (if you have physical gold coins... I believe zakat becomes due... so you can tell your Sunni bros. that you are also paying Zakat now... )

ImAli's point is well taken... but want to emphasis that these are not unthinking infants, what they do is thought out...

This is all a setup with puppet strings working from behind the scenes.

Provides a great opportunity for the zionist front companies to rig share prices and earn loads of money out of stock markets, as they already know the outcome of this 'squabble'.

I wonder if the health insurance stocks have dropped or remained the same. If they have dropped it could be another one of their ploys to purchase health insurance shares dirt cheap and watch them skyrocket once americans are forced to buy health insurance.

Its sad when the government "elected" by majority of people fail to serve its main purpose and keeps meddling in international affairs.

A new poll showed that nearly nine in ten Americans are unhappy with Washington D.C., the seat of U.S. federal government, as the partial federal government shutdown drags on with no progress in negotiations between the two Parties in Congress.
The latest poll, done by CBS News, released the result late Thursday night by saying that 87 percent of Americans are displeased with "the way things are going in Washington," including 44 percent who are "dissatisfied" and 43 percent who are "angry", the highest since CBS News began asking this question in 2010, while there were only 30 percent Americans who are angry with Washington in March.

I hope the government shutdown continue. The American political system at the federal level is soo crazy and dysfunctional :squeez: , I think the best thing that happened from the debt ceiling fall out is that more people are paying attention to what is happening in capitol hill.

Thanks for the tip ;) I'll be watching the stock market.

USA is a third world country by all the [Edited Out] nonsense in the third world countries means.

We can’t afford to find missing children! The government has shutdown our Amber Alert system website! But, luckily if we do find them, they’ll still be able to enjoy the Cookie Monster on TV! (UPDATE: Thankfully they reopened the Amber Alert website)

TLR has learned that the administration shelled out $445 million cookies to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting on the first day of the government shutdown. Meanwhile, the feds are shutting down private businesses on public land and blocking veterans from visiting open air monuments.

The United States Treasury reported that the Department of Health and Human Services, Social Security Benefits, Postal Service Money Orders and Unemployment Benefits all received about as much as the CPB… combined!

The CPB uses the defense that it is technically separate from government, but how do you call an institution that gets that much money from government “separate”?

From Fox News:

“CPB is a nonprofit corporation that is technically separate from the government. So is NeighborWorks, a nonprofit that receives congressional appropriations, just as CPB does. NeighborWorks helped cause the housing bubble; CPB provides the propaganda that anesthetizes the public, preventing people from laying blame for failed policies at the door of the government,” said Matthew Vadum, senior editor at the Capital Research Center. “Keeping a distance by incorporating these entities affords the government plausible deniability when the two nonprofits mess up.”

Many people enjoy the programs put out by the CPB, but is it really fair to force all taxpayers to pay for something that only a few people enjoy? Why don’t we subsidize professional sports then? Oh we do? Oh, sorry. Ok well, what do the artists think?

Let’s pick one at random… how about… Jason Alexander?

The former Seinfeld star played George Costanza on the popular comedy show from the 90′s. Alexander was spotted out at an event last week where he was questioned about funding for the arts during the government shutdown. Alexander stated:

Jason Alexander played George Costanza on the hit comedy show Seinfeld (No government funding necessary)

“Clearly, we are in a financial crisis in this country so you want to spend money where it is going to make sense. Do people absolutely need the arts to get by day-to-day? You can make that claim but they also really need a lot of things before that,” he said. “I would love to see more funding for the arts but I think the community to which it serves should sponsor. There are tax payers in this country that never go to the theater, that never read a book or poetry or go to a museum and their tax dollars are being spent on the arts…. I could make the argument either way. I’m glad I’m not the guy who has to figure it out.”

Yes, we are in a financial crisis in this country. And yet, instead of spend money as if we are in a crisis, we spend money on nonessential television programs and on enforcing the closing of open air public parks. Sounds like it’s time a for a change. Wouldn’t you agree?

Its all an adgenda..... there all on the same side, there is no bickering, thats just a show to deceive the people. they will eventually destroy fiat currency (paper money). Maybe its time now, i don't know, we'll see in a few weeks. We already have a world currency, thats what centralised banking is. Only 4 countries yet to have a central bank, thats what these wars are about. They use Riba.... to enslave everyone. we all know that..... Politicians are just public representatives, they have no real power... the bankers are servants to there masters, there masters created centralised banking in the 1800's. Find out who created it and you'll get all the answers. this is all prophecy, all of it. Manipulation, carried out by those who worship Iblis... and those who summon the Jinn. This is nothing new.... Prophet Solomon pbuh went through the same thing, Riba was popular during his time, which led to the war with the Jinns. Brothers and Sisters..... We are so fortune to be here at this time on earth..... Hamdullah. Allah Akbar.
