Salam,

The situation in Syria has been continuously in turmoil.

First the major threat were the rebels, then Turkey, then Israel and so on, until the US finally prepared to strike.

I am creating this thread so we can predict the next course of action which will be taken by:

the axis of arrogance and its minions

and

the activities of the axis of resistance.

Please try to backup your posts with facts and news articles from only 'resistance media' sources, if required.

Under Mr. Rohani the axis of resistance is seriously weakening and Syria may well be the first casualty of this weakening  ... the key issue will be how much the US is willing to offer Iran, in return for its docile behaviors. If the US offers to lift some significant (albeit symbolic, not substantive) sanctions - Rohani could claim victory in Iran, and ally with Mr. Hashemi/Khatami cabal to pressure Imam Khamenei to more or less fully withdraw from the axis, which would effectively end the axis.  That will be the price that the US will offer Iran, not the nuclear stuff, the US is not much interested in that any more. The US knows that so long as IRI remains committed to Islam, independence, and seek justice, and freedom for people - it is a major roadblock in its move for dominion. And the US also understands the nature of what Rohani needs in order to move away from that, and towards purely Irani nationalism - that poses no real threat to the arrogant/ignorant axis/minions.

If the US offers no lifting of sanctions, then things may be different.

Russia will sell out first, and in my view, may have already done so.

In a normal situation, the US would have continued provocation in Syria through its proxies to force the govt to do something stupid.

But due to guidance from the veterans Russia, Iran and others, the Syrian govt will continue to lie low and hit the rebels, on a limited scale. Thus, requiring another false flag by the axis of arrogance. We can expect another false flag after a small time gap.

Another event taking place in the near future are the announcing of the results of the UN team findings of the chemical attack. If they state that chemicals weapons have been used, we shall see a media blitz by the zionists accusing, probably backed by false and irrelevant evidence, that the govt used chemical weapons.

I hope the resistance media is prepared for it.

We can get a general idea and possibly preempt any psyops attempted by on our minds by the u no who.

The resistance media has played a good role to ensure that the media blitz concerning chemical attacks was tackled.

Now that Syria has been saved from US attacks, the Syrian govt and the US and team will intensify their efforts on the ground. The fights between the rebels and Syrian govt will increase in number and magnitude.

The rebels will intensify their activities or they will fall into irrelevance. They will strike the alawite civilians for showing that they are doing something.

The Syrian govt will take retaliatory measures.

The current situation seems like a stalemate, absolutely no winners whatsoever, nothing but losers on all sides.

I feel terrible for innocent Syrians who are enduring this pathetic war.

One thing that I forgot to mention, was that applying to the OPCW (Organization of the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons) helped the drive home the point that the Syrian govt is the official govt. and not the rebels.

This point is important as in the Arab league, the Syria seat has been given to the Syrian opposition.

This applying to the OPCW has been a stone which killed many birds at the same time.

I also think that the three attacks-

Iraqi funeral triple bomb attack.

Nairobi Mall attack

and the

Pakistan Church Bomb,

were all coordinated to vilify the Muslims, especially since the Rouhani is about to address the UN.

It should not seem that Muslims can be peaceful/moderate at any time.

The zionists needed some relief from the continuous Resistance defeats, both on the ground in Syria and diplomatically (Syria, Iran and Russia). These 'terror' attacks are a relief to the zionists.

The Syrian govt has started an large scale offensive around Damascus and nearby districts. The Syrian army needs to disable more rebels units than their daily supply from the borders.

The better news is that the Syrian army is targeting weapons supply and has confiscated and destroyed large amount of weapons. But that it still not enough.

Ideally any other govt that would have crumbled under the onslaught Syria has been facing, but then Allah(SWT) is the overseer of all. The zionists, however powerful they may seem, are in fact helpless and fearful. Their stubbornness to  turn away from God is their weakness and not their strength.

Significant efforts and threats are needed by Syria and its allies to stop the supply of weapons, money and 'rebels'. Unfortunately, I cannot foresee how is that possible in the near term, Unless God wills.

Sadly, there will be no peace in Syria any time soon. That much is obvious. They will keep breeding and sending najdis from around the world. Arab spring, 70 virgins, porno jihad legalization, petrodollars, homosexuals to fight beside, free beer and food, how can any of them resist.

The zionist HRW has apparently 'acknowledged' that the rebels committed crimes in Lattakia (Alawi area), but not before stating that this is the FIRST Evidence of rebel atrocity before finishing off.

This leads to two things-

The zionists have realised that Syria is a lost cause and they want to dump the support being given to the 'rebels'. It is hurting their image. It is a losing proposition.

or

maybe the HRW wants to hide the rebel crimes and show that this is the 'first time' they have a massacre and that the previous ones are by the govt.

http://www.presstv.ir/detail/2013/10/11/328850/nobel-prize-part-of-wests-propaganda-fog/

-----------

The govt offensive has continued in the Damascus neighboring areas, leading to heavy losses among militants. The problem for the zionists is not the rebels being killed, but their getting wounded.

In fact, the wounded rebels can be the key to end the war. I mean, it would be very expensive to treat them and rehabilitating them would cost exorbitantly, leading to financial trouble for the zionists.

--------

The govt forces will increasingly have the -'finish them off' mindset and undertake daring moves (They have already started some operations). The losses of the rebels will rise significantly, especially around the Damascus province/area/outskirts.

I see the end of the war. It is not beyond the horizon anymore.

Saudi Arabia's highest religious authority, the grand mufti Abdulaziz Al al-Sheikh, has told young Saudis they should not go to Syria to fight in the civil war.

Saudi Arabia has backed the rebels battling Syrian President Bashar al-Assad sent weapons, and called on world powers to "enable" Syrians to protect themselves.

"This is all wrong, it's not obligatory," the grand mufti said in a lecture, according to a report on Monday in the Saudi newspaper Al-Hayat.

"These are feuding factions and one should not go there. I do not advise one to go there ... Going to a land that you do not know and without experience, you will be a burden to them, what they want from you is your prayer."

The grand mufti, appointed by the Saudi king, also warned preachers against encouraging young men to fight in Syria during their sermons, after delivering what the paper said was a lecture on "Deviation among the youth" at a mosque.

"Muslim should be fearful of God and not deceive young Muslims and exploit their weakness and lack of insight and push them to an abyss," the mufti was quoted by the newspaper.

"I advise them to advise as they would advise their sons."

Saudi Arabia is wary that fighters could return home and use their experiences against the kingdom's rulers.

Saudi-born Osama bin Laden, the creator of al-Qaeda, turned on the Saud family after fighting in Afghanistan against the Russians.

Sunni Muslim al-Qaeda fighters attacked targets inside Saudi Arabia between 2003 and 2006.

A Gulf Arab source familiar with military movements in the region said in September 2012 that thousands of Saudis travelled to Syria to join the rebels. It is not known how many succeeded.

Saudi love to fund terrorism but don't want their citizens to get their hands dirty since they might come back home and try to overthrow the Saudi's rule.

The FSA and other 'rebels' are getting punched every day. But the problem is that they wont stop coming in.

They are too cheap and disposable weapons for the imperialists and their  puppets.

I wish to take back my words, that the injured 'rebels' will lead to the end of the war, as they are probably left to die by their compatriots (unlike the maoists fighters of India, who take their dead bodies along with the injured ones. Message to the takfirirs- Learn from them.)

The war is ending slowly. In order to speed up the process,we should pursue an ideological onslaught on the takfiris via the media, especially with the help of normal sunni clerics opposed to this type of terrorism, esp. in Syria and the countries which are supplying the 'rebels'.

I wonder how can social fabric be rebuilt in Syria, people will start hating each other more. Alawis will be more fearful of and more hostile toward Sunnis, Christians will be more fearful of and hostile toward Muslims.

Yes, I wonder that too, but haven't these hostilities towards one another always run just under the surface?  I see the problem as the same one the United States had to overcome in the 1960's... an end to segregation, and forced integration.  It is in getting to know one another that we start to accept and get along with one another and stop fearing... not by keeping separate and in ignorance of one another.  As long as these countries insist on keeping separate communities for themselves... separate from one another, they will always have suspicions of one another, not really knowing one another, rather than seeing themselves as one nation of people.

Just my thoughts.

Salaam.

Horrible actions taking place are the result of a horrible state of affairs in Syria thats brought into existence due to anarchy there. The mass has nothing to do with it. Once the rule of law is established in Syria, the country will go back into functioning like a normal society. Just as segregation is the fad today as per requirement of realities on the ground, in a peaceful Syria unity will be the special of the day and people will forget and forgive because they'd have no other choice but.

That has at least been the case in Afghanistan, a country with tons of similarity to Syria and its conflict.
