What will occur is shias loss of regional control and diminishing of Hezbies in Lebanon. That is what will occur. That is why shiites are support Assad no matter what, if he used chemical weapons or not. It doesnt matter. It its all about maintaining shiite control regardless of whetehr it is done through brutal tyranny of a 75% sunni nation. Shocking when these same people cry about protestors getting jailed in Bahrain, wanting an overthrow of that reginme because of a shiite majority (63%) or when they gave more lanats to chemical Ali and Saddam (halabja massacre) over their usual sahaaba and Aisha lanatfests. This is what you need to know, That is all.

Syria won't fall....

IF it does:

The country will be carved into two or three small feifdoms:

1. all important coastal parts will be kept as current day syria,

2. the somewhat oil rich desert part bordering iraq will be lawless Salafis run no man's land,

3. and the area bordering turkey will be Kurd heaven.

Holding the Bag Losers:

1. Turkey with two autonomous Kurdish regions on its borders. Turkey will forget all about the stability, Turkey will turn into terrorism infected Pakistan, exactly the same geography and the same actors supported by the same Salafis, Israeli, Americans against the unified turkey.

2. Saudis with a more focused and vengeful Syria going after them.

3. Lebanese pro-Saudi factions who will be punished hard sandwiched between Syria and Hizb.

4. Israel facing an openly more powerful and permanently hostile borders from Syrian and Lebanese front. Loosing all influence that they ever had in Levant.

Battered but Winners:

1. Iraq officially closing borders with Saudis and crushing the takfiri terrorism once and for all.

2. Hizb coming out openly more strong and with more experience with possession of extremely deadly arsenal from an openly belligerent syria. Don't be surprised if you see for the first time Hizb maintaining a small kamikaze Air Force.

3. Iranians now officially leading the tight alliance of Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, and Yemen.

The Best way anyone has put it so far.
