I recently joined a website Ummah.com. But I was sad to see that it was just like Sunni Forum. The same hatred. The same violence. The same offensive attitude towards Shia Muslims. When somebody asked me questions about temporary marriage and I answered him, people began to ask dirty questions. I was very grieved. Is this what Islam teach us? Islam teaches us to keep ourselves in our limits and don't cross moral values. Alas! People claim to be believers but act like disbelievers.

 

Well, I'm there with the name Muslim Modesty.

As if people were accepted as better/true/real muslims when they bash other muslims.. but there have been good forums also like http://www.yanabi.com/ which helped people gain a better understanding of every islamic denomination and thus try to unite muslims (sunni, shia, sufi) in the common grounds.. I don't know how it is now though.. I remember there were subforums like "Ask a sunni" and "Ask a shia" there.. And I just checked, it seems they removed those subforums.. And it is really sad.. And, if you are willing to spread islamic unity in other sites also, I can help forming another site.. Please let me know what you think.. May Allah bless you.. ma salam

Yeah, sometimes I think that Yanabi is a Sunni website but some social websites accuse it of propagating Shia Islam.

I lurk on those forums occasionally, I would say that Ummah.com and SunniForums are bad, especially some SSP supporters over at SunniForums.

 

However, IslamicAwekening, and the HCY is the absolute worst of the worst. The former is a jihadi forum, with many posting under their made-up jihadi kunyas (lol) many are under the watch of MI6, and constantly get picked up by them.

 

You get updates like: ''Brother AbuMuwahid has been arrested, duas''.

 

They believe stuff like Hezbollah killed 20,000 Sunnis just in Quseyr, we stab babies in the eyes, Lashkar e Jhangvi and Sipah e Sahaba are innocent, we Shias are very cunning to blow our own Hazaras up, praise the Taliban, Islamic State o Iraq, love the Anjem Chaudery fanboys, and even support female circumcision justifying it by a certain Hadith of theirs.

 

I know, mind boggling stuff, lol.

 

As for the latter, the HCY, well I don't think I need to explain much about this :P

 

What is constant among ALL these forums is their widespread belief of Shi'a = Liar/Taqiyyah; Mutah 24/7; and Cursing all day; errday. When asked to cite, they will conveniently give you links from takfiri sites and a certain Yassir Habib's video lol.

 

I have engaged with them many times, their arguments crumble to dust in no time, when they see how dubious their logic is, they run away by saying ''well you Rafidah lie, I can't believe you.''

 

Compare their rhetoric with the Neo-Nazi propaganda websites full of sub-humanizing the non-whites, and you will find nothing but similarities, same tactics. 

 

 

EDIT: I was looking to post stuff like their users getting arrested (it's very common for those users) but instead I found one of 'em by the name of AbuMuslim got martyred in Syria.

I think i just went into depression after reading this. Didn't know it was this bad.

 

These must be the guys MI6 and FBI use whenever they want to create a terror attack. Seem like easy to fool kinda dudes.

well iam shia, i would love to go on a forum like that and converse with you, im glad you got out of it, i wouldnt advise people to visit there
