Rate this topic

Recommended Posts

I want to start this thread to document the almost daily shia killings happening around the world especially in Pakistan and the entire middle east. Inshallah I will keep updating this thread. But my main purpose is for every reader to atleast recite surah fatiha for the marhomeen listed here. If you can also recite a chapter from the quran or take out sadaqa on behalf of the marhomeen it will be highly appreciated.

Although there has been lots and lots of shia killings but I want to start with the killings that happened recently in Syria were an entire shia village of Hatla was overrun by terrorists FSA who nmassacred over 60 shia including women and children. An imam and is 8 yr old son were brutally killed in this incident.

Here is the link to a thread that talks about the Hatla massacre

This thread would be hundreds or thousands of pages. Since 8 years ago, I've seen almost on a daily basis deliberate murders committed against Shia Muslims. Many on the news, it can't be counted. The Saudi's tribal cavemen, essentially have created a murderous intolerant cult.

Iraq bombings, shootings kill atleast 70 Shias.

http://abcnews.go.com/International/t/story/attacks-kill-66-iraq-hurt-20090684

In addition to the bombings, the death toll included seven Shia family members killed when gunmen raided their home and shot them as they slept.

The Shia family shot dead at home were found in the largely Sunni town of Latifiyah, about 30 kilometres south of Baghdad. Three children, ages eight to 12, were killed along with their parents and two uncles in that attack, according to police.

Authorities said they had previously fled the town after being threatened, and returned only three weeks ago.

Many of the day's blasts targeted morning shoppers. Among them was a parked car bomb that detonated in a commercial area in the northern Shaab neighbourhood of Baghdad, killing nine and wounding 25.

More parked car bombs went off in outdoor markets in the sprawling slum of Sadr City, where five were killed and 20 were wounded. Similar attacks hit the northeastern neighborhood of Shula, killing three and wounding nine; the southeastern Jisr Diyala in an outdoor market, killing eight and wounding 22; and the eastern New Baghdad area, killing three and wounding 12.

So may I ask..whats the point of that thread?

You need to stop being so negative. It's really not a welcome attitude here.

The point is to remind everyone of the reality of what is happening and remind them of death (as the Prophet (pbuh) instructed) and ask them to read dua for the ones passed away.

Shias killed everywhere whether they are minority or majority.

Where Shias in majority, like in Iraq and even have stakes in the government, I don't really understand why they are unable to stop the massacres.

The only stable country that could help is Iran, however Iran is under heavy sanction. Bahrain is currently going through a revolution but when the king is thrown in the gutter then that'll give wahabi's/salafi's an excuse to bomb it like no tomorrow just like our dear brothers and sister in Iraq are suffering, if for once Iraq is left alone then we may have hope to start something for us and as for Azerbaijan well that is just too secular for our liking (too pro west and Israel).

Too my knowledge there are four majority shia countries:

Iran

Iraq

Bahrain

Azerbaijan

anyways...

Shia massacre in Chilas (pakistan) April 11, 2012

An eyewitness Ali Reza spoke to a local daily and provided an account of the massacre of Shia Muslim in Chilas:

“There were dozens of buses in the convoy which was protected by police. However, I could sense right from the beginning that something was going to happen. Our convoy was delayed on the way for several hours in different spots.

At Buner Farm in district Diamer, thousands of people stopped the buses near the police station. Dozens of people were on motorbikes and they all had weapons. Then suddenly thousands of stones were hurled at the buses. Women and children started screaming.

They dragged the men out, checked their ID cards and shot them dead on the spot in front of each others. Then the slogans of “Shia are infidel” was raised in the air. When I got out, I grabbed a 4 year old child of another women and pretended to traveling without an ID card.

They checked my back and found no marks of flagellation (a Shia mark). They let me go with the woman and her child. I saw a woman grabbing on to the hand of another male, who was shot in front of her. Many men were killed in front of us by stone pelting. Then a passenger from Skardo was dragged out. Tens of men attacked him with baton, stones and knives. He was screaming and calling Imam Hussain when one person raised a large stone of twenty five pounds and dropped on his face. I saw several dead bodies were dragged and thrown in the river Indus.

The terrorists were entering the police station and coming out with weapons. There was one person who was putting up a fight with empty hands. The terrorists dragged him towards the river and then I do not know what happened to him. Thousands of people were shouting, “Shia are non Muslims” thus legitimising butchering of innocent men and youth. Later we were taken to a house in Thalichi. There, the women informed that three men jumped in the river to save their lives. One was running towards the river when he was shot at from behind.

Three suicide bomb attacks target Shia pilgrims in Iraq

Suicide bombings targeting Shiite pilgrims in and around the Iraqi capital and other violence across the country killed 36 people and wounded dozens others Thursday, officials said.

One suicide bomber set off his explosive belt near a group of pilgrims in Baghdad's southern district of Dora, killing 14 people and wounding 28, police said. Another blew himself up among pilgrims in Youssifiyah, 20 kilometers (12 miles) south of Baghdad, killing eight and wounding 28 shortly after sunset, officials said.

At night, seven people were killed and 25 were wounded in a third suicide bomber attack on Shiite pilgrims in Latifiyah town, about 30 kilometers (20 miles) south of Baghdad.

The pilgrims were heading to the holy Shiite city of Karbala, 90 kilometers (55 miles) to the south. Shiite pilgrims are commemorating Arbaeen, the end of 40 days of mourning following the anniversary of the death of the Prophet Muhammad's grandson, Imam Hussein, a revered Shiite figure.

Car bombs kill at least 25 people in Iraqi capital

(Reuters) - Four car bombs killed at least 25 people in Shi'ite Muslim districts of Baghdad on Monday, police said, in violence that coincided with a visit to the Iraqi capital by U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.

Although no group claimed responsibility, the bombings appeared to be part of a relentless campaign by al Qaeda-linked Sunni Muslim militants to undermine Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki's Shi'ite-led government.

The deadliest attack occurred in the mainly Shi'ite neighbourhood of Shaab in eastern Baghdad where a car bomb exploded in a commercial area, killing 11 people and wounding 28.
