My dad likes to keep the gray, I suggest the same, but if your really young, then go for it.

Wa’alaikum Assalam,

My suggestion is to find a way to accept it. Quite often in life we get the exam first and the lesson afterwards. Perhaps this is such a test for you.

La hawla wala quwata illah billah.

I live in a city of 13,000 in rural western Canada, the owner of a gas station is 'fresh off the boat' from Pakistan-- his named is Javaid, he dies his long beard reddish orange to emulate Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh).  When I first arrived in town, it was the first place I stopped and brother Javaid greeted me in his indigenous Urdu language, when I told him I wasn't from his country but Lebanese he switched to Arabic.

Think it looks fantastic and would like to see a photo if you do it.

Do Shias dye their beard (dying not dyeing)

Peace be upon you..

Is there even any evidence to suggest the holy Prophet (saw) dyed his beard reddish orange?

I personally like the have some grays in my beard and hair. I've already a lot of gray hair on my head, my beard is still black though.

If you read the book of Yusuf Al-Qardhawi, the practice of dying the beard "orange-red" is the practice of the Sheikhyn. According to the sunni narrations, Prophet (sawa) was reported to have asked Abu Bakr to dye his father's beard. Both Abu Bakr and Umar dyed their beard.

Ameer ul Mumineen (as) did not dye his beard and left it to grow gray thus this is the practice of the Shi'as.
