asalam walaikum,

wanted to get an input on working as an accountant for a beer company? is it considered haraam?

if someone could shed light on this topic

Walaikumsalam wa rahmatullah,

 

 One more tradition says, that the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) cursed ten types of people in connection with wine:

1)      One who plants a sapling with the intention of producing wine.

2)      One who cultivates this sapling so that wine may be manufactured.

3)      One who crushes the grapes.

4)      One who drinks wine.

5)      One who serves the wine.

6)      One who transports wine.

7)      One who takes delivery from the supplier.

8)      One who sells wine.

9)      One who buys it.

10)  One who uses the income that is earned by (making or selling) wine.

Aleykum Salam.

Alcohol is haram. Any money made by making alcohol is haram. So selling beer is haram. Buying beer is haram for yourself. Working for a factory who makes beer is haram. Anything to do with beer is haram. I dont even feel well when just watching it. It is up to you to decide. Better 10 euros halal than 1000 euros haram. Salam.

I had readen a Hadith, that Rasool'Allah S.a.w said; curse be on the people who drinks and sells it and curse be on them who manufactures, and even the one who transports it. Sorry right now i'am not getting refrences, so will you earn from a cursed company ! Indeed brother it will be not Halaal.
