Rate this topic

Recommended Posts

Hello,

The month of Ramadan has approached and like all Muslims i should fast.

The problem is i live with my girlfriend, i know i am committing a very big sin and I hope that i am not allowed to fast as well.

I just want to know that is there a little bit possibility that i am allowed to fast? Because this will be my first Ramadan without fasting :(

Details:

My girlfriend is a christian

she has no other place to go

Regards,

Salam alejkum,

Why don't you turn that relationship into a halal one by doing mutah?

Why would you hope that you wouldn't be allowed to fast just because your committing a sin? o.O Yes of course you should fast.

Salam,

It doesn't work like that. Doing a sin does not exempt you from doing the wajib.

If u don't do the wajib, then you are adding another sin to your first one and distancing yourself from paradise even further.

like others have said, you could do mutah with her and make it halal.

It takes about 3 minutes.

Here is the instructions

The Vows For The Mutah Marriage (.wav file)

First the lady says:

Zawajtuka nafsi fil muddatil ma'loomati 'alal mahril ma'loom

Translation: "I married myself to you for the known period and the agreed upon dowry."

Then man replies:

Qabiltu.

Translation: "I accepted."*

Congratulations! That's it! You are now halal for each other for the time period that you agreed!

You HAVE to fast. One sin doesn't make a reason to commit more.

With her, just read muta sentences, tell her what it is, and there you go, all your current sinful situation would turn into a situation of bliss with Allah's blessing showering on you.

Do you think worship without piety will get you near God. i am not saying you shouldnt worship but just think about it. Its good that atleast you want to fast.

If she has no other place, is it possible for you to live somewhere else (another house, apartment, park)

I would say repent sincerely, move out, and think about getting married. And you cant repent if you dont move out since one condition of repentance is you leave sin right away.

hope things work out for you :)
