Does anyone have a link to that?

It was available in his Wikipedia but removed recently

Tawhidi's critics have dubbed him "Australia's fake sheikh."[14][19] Alex McKinnon, in an opinion piece for The Sydney Morning Herald, claimed his "credentials are tough to verify."[12] The Sunni-based Australian National Imams Council (ANIC) does not recognise Tawhidi as an imam, sheikh or Muslim leader.[12][14][16]

Thank you. It's possible that the link to the Al-Mustafa International University letter rejecting Tawhidi is on a previous page in this topic, but I am too busy to look for it. I feel sorry for anyone who hasn't heard of him and needs to read all the previous pages in this thread.

ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) quoted the document from Al-Mustafa International University in their online news story a year ago:

Quote

"In spite of given warnings and notifications, the above-named person did not take heed of them each time and had not satisfactory academic record in his courses … he was placed on probation and [dropped] out on March 27, 2012 … the aforesaid person has no educational degree (or any given score) in his profile … Al-Mustafa University does not recommend Mohammad Touhidi for lecturing in any way. Accordingly, he has no competency to do religious activities or to preach sermons."

Imam Tawhidi's poor academic record reflects his ignorance.

How can a drop out and failure be speaking on behalf of our religion? He has not even studied properly.

It's like I muck around at uni, don't attend tutorials and workshops, skip lectures and do crap in the final exam.

Gosh how stupid of the Australians who support him! May Allah give them aql!

I have just a question about this person. Do there is actually some shias who follow this guy and is there really a marja who gave to him a turban ?

There are always people dumb enough. He did not qualify in any religious science.

Theres never any point in seeing how many people follow someone, to see if someone is worth following, consider the quality of the people who are following.

Its like Yasser Habib, he is just an agent and followed only by the most simple minded folk, who are the same calibre as the shia who fell for Muawiya's trick of putting Quran on spears.

#No2Tawhidi
 #ImamOfFitnah
How Qualified is Tawhidi?

After al-Mustafa University (who Tawhidi claims he graduated from) exposed Tawhidi saying he has never graduated nor do they endorse (and in fact condemn) him being a public speaker or to represent anyone - Tawhidi seemed desperate to get some sort of certification. This is his prized certificate, have a special place above his head stating the following:

"Certificate of Qualification
This is to certify that Imam Shaikh Mohammed Tawhidi has achieved the status of a Muslim Scholar and is deemed worthy of Islamic leadership. He is therefore authorised to lead and represent the Muslim community in Australia."

This is signed off by Shaikh Mohammed Zeki Albayati - Chairman of Board of Directors / General Deputy and Representative of the Grand Islamic Jurisdiction and Hierarchy of Scandanavia.

This was "awarded" and "sealed" by the Al-Huda Islamic Institute of Religious Guidance - Stockholm / Sweden.

This is rather fascinating. Let us discuss.

1. On what basis can a Swedish institute issue any sort of certification for someone to lead a community in Australia? When has Tawhidi visited or even studied in Sweden? Tawhidi has never even been to Europe!! It seems like simple connections and a phone call will get u a cheap certificate, eh?

2. The "Al-Huda Islamic Institute of Religious Guidance" seems extremely shady. It has no running website (see: http://www.alhuda.se/) and only an Arabic facebook page running (see: http://bit.ly/2hrGM5G).

3. Shaikh Mohammed Zeki Albayati is a representative of Sayed Sadiq Shirazi (see: http://alarabi.se/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/97.png). Sadiq Shirazi is the same person who "crowned" Tawhidi and the same man that Tawhidi continues to praise, show off his picture, and not call out despite promoting Sharia Law.

4. The "Al-Huda Islamic Institute of Religious Guidance" is, of course, a Shirazi run and funded centre. Amazingly, the centre was established to spread Shia Islam in Europe, as is the mission of the master and teacher of Tawhidi. We quote the official Shirazi website speaking about al-Huda:

"We at Al-Huda and Imam Hassan Mujtaba institutes, do our best to expand our cultural and religious programs to attract more youths to the doctrine of Shi’a Islam. I need to add that the Shirazi scholars have had a great role in spreading Shi’a Islam in the Western and European countries. The great works of the Shirazi scholars such as the distribution of many religious books and Islamic lectures have made many people to know more about Shia Islam and embrace it. I want the Lord to help the Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in his way of serving Shi’a Islam and make him more successful." (see: http://www.english.shirazi.ir/1941)

You may now be getting the idea of what Tawhidi's mission is in attracting people to his doctrine, no matter what it takes - even lying and making everyone else look bad.

Again, another failed mission with another mickey mouse certification.

Like a khorasani, you have to explain, Tawhidi doesnt have something with Shirazi (ha). Everyone can visit Syyed Sadiq (ha), and to be honest, before "Imam tawhidi" looks more a smart guy, but in the end, he is just a stupid takfiri and doesnt have akhlaq, like yasser alhabib. Sayyed Sadiq reject these guys.

I’ve yet to see a Shia alim who doesn’t say the ‘peace’ when he mentions the name of our dear Prophet Muhammad ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)).

In above video Tawhidi doesn’t mention the salawat when he mentions our Prophet. Just this one video was enough to tell me he is a pretender.

Fake Imam darling of Zionists and Hindu fanatics

February 11, 2019

3043897.jpg

Tehran - A self-proclaimed Imam of Iraqi origin, born in Iran, currently based in Australia, his only claim to fame is Islam-bashing. His ticket to stardom in the West has been blatant hate speech and toxic sectarian rhetoric. He has become a darling of Islamophobes, New Atheists and right-leaning hate preachers who seek to sow seeds of discord among Muslims.

Imam Tawhidi, who has not been recognized by the Australian National Imams Council nor is he affiliated with any Australian mosque (according to ABC investigation), is again in news.

The white-turbaned trouble-monger masquerading as a cleric is visiting India to attend a cultural festival organized by a prominent television group close to radical Hindu organizations.

Over the past few days, social media has been abuzz over Tawhidis much-publicized visit to India. While he has been ecstatically welcomed by the ideological right (RSS and ilk), including some leaders of the ruling party, Muslim organizations and peace activists have strongly denounced his agenda-based visit.

Tawhidi banks heavily on his aggressive PR machinery, dishing out inflammatory statements that stoke the flames of sectarianism and malign the image of Islam. Thats precisely why he is idolized by right-leaning ideologues from America to Israel to India. He makes their job easier.

Over the last few days, his interviews have appeared in leading newspapers of India, in which he spews venom against Muslims, against Islam, against Pakistan, against Iran, against the Islamic revolution. He makes no secret of his surreptitious love affair with Zionists in Israel and Hindutva brigade in India.

In an interview with Times of India, Tawhidi described himself as a peace advocate working for healthy interfaith dialogue. In the same breath, he denounced Pakistans version of Islam, which he said is amended to fit the narrative of the government and to justify all of its wrongdoings. Exactly the kind of rhetoric Hindu fanatics in India want to hear from their foreign guests.

He went on to label Irans revolutionary guards and Lebanons Hezbollah movement as Shia terrorist organizations, in line with what his masters in Tel Aviv and Washington have suckled him.

Tawhidis association with Iran is old. He was born in the holy city of Qom and had his elementary and secondary education in the religious seminaries of the city. Owing to his suspicious activities, he was expelled from the Qom seminary after which he traveled to Australia and unveiled his real face there.

He has toured many countries in the West in recent years promoting his warped worldview and distorted image of Islam, thereby bringing bad name to the religion he falsely claims to profess. The latest being India, where he has overt and covert association with Hindu militant organisations that have been accused of mob lynching of Muslims in recent past.

Some of the people he has met in India over the past few days  based on his Twitter feed  include the infamously famous hate-mongers  BJP politician Subramanian Swamy and writer Tarek Fateh. Both Swamy and Fateh are master conspiracy theorists whose job is to polarize communities in India for vote bank politics.

In May 2018, Swamy, who is known for whipping communal passions, said Muslims of India were the descendants of Hindus, so if any Muslim citizen of India identifies with or glorifies Islamic rule in India, he should be declared a defeated alien. Fateh, a Pakistan-born and India-based writer, in September 2018 said Muslims owe Ram Mandir to Hindus and it would be constructed in Ayodhya, a disputed site in northern India where a historic mosque was demolished by radical Hindus on December 6, 1992.

Tawhidis camaraderie with these people is based on their common hatred for Islam and Muslims. Their meetings are part of the larger plot to demean the great religion of Islam and its great adherents.

He not only hates Muslims, but he also promotes the views that fit the narrative of Hindu fanatics in India. For instance, in an interview with right-wing portal OpIndia last year, he said Pakistan is an illegitimate country founded upon hate and blood, and added that Kashmir is a Hindu land and it belonged to India before Pakistan was created.

To please his friends in New Delhi, Tawhidi even jumped in defense of India forces and legitimized the cold-blooded killing of Kashmiri youth Qaiser Amin in Kashmir earlier this year.

While he has been praised by far-right ideologues including American Hindu author David Frawley, anti-Islamophobia and peace activists like Middle East Eye columnist CJ Werleman have criticized him in unequivocal terms.

In a November 2017 article titled The Islamophobia Industrys favourite Imam is a fake, Werleman brilliantly exposed the fake Imam and the darling of New Atheists. His cartoonish and paradoxical efforts to portray himself as the sum of all xenophobic fears, while at the same time echoing xenophobic narratives made him an irresistible magnet to Australian media outlets and racist hate groups, he wrote.

While the radical Hindu groups in India rolled red carpet for him, Muslim organisations strongly protested against his visit. Majlis Ulama-e-Hind, a body of Muslim clerics in India, expressed its strong disapproval over Tawhidis visit by writing a letter to Indias Home Minister Rajnath Singh.

Maulana Kalbe Jawad, general secretary Majlis Ulama-I-Hind and top Shia cleric, said the man was masquerading as a scholar while he was not related to Shiism or Islam, because his preaching and books are against the teachings of Islam and Shiite faith.

Shujaat Ali Quadri, National President of Muslim Students Organisation of India, also opposed his visit to India, terming him a puppet of the West and Israel.

Alt News founder Pratik Sinha accused him of spreading fake news. He was soon blocked on Twitter.

To protest against Tawhidis visit to India and denounce his hate-filled rhetoric, hashtags like #GoBackTawhidi, #NoToTawhidi, #ImamOfFitna have been trending on Twitter in India.
He is a fraud, a big fraud, wrote on Twitter user. His only agenda is to humiliate Muslims and show disrespect to Islam, which is also the agenda of Zionists and Hindutva groups.

There are certainly many points on which one can take objection with Tawhidi.

However, some of these points can easily be raised about many others. Some are calling him a fake scholar based on his lack of study, but at the same time long titles are being given to popular speakers who haven't studied much more than him.

People are quick to label someone an agent as soon as they don’t like what they're saying. Did you ever consider that someone could have certain views, however strange they may be, without being on a payroll?

Finally, I sometimes wonder if we attributed some of Tawhidis quotes that he is being criticized for to another speaker, would people still condemn it or would they start parroting it instead?

Personally I don't care much for Tawhidi and I am certainly not defending him, but I do see some double standards in some of the arguments that are brought against him.

Totally agree with you. This Tawhidi can be fraud but our decision should be based on truth rather than personality. If any of our top favorite scholar says something similar to Tawhidi he should be equally condemned.
