He was one of the intellectuals of the Shia community, as well as an excellent poet and marsiyakhwan.

May Allah shower upon the killers his wrath, and protect lovers of Ahle Bayt (as) where ever they may be.

"Main chala hoon Ali (as) se mulaqat ko

jis ki thi arzoo woh ghari agayi" - Sibte Jaffer

Sibte Jaffer was also the head of the education department of Jafferia Disaster Cell, which provides hundreds of students with free english and computer courses and examination help.

He has some powerful couplets about death, martyrdom, and how the former is cause for no fear whatsoever, for lovers of the Ahl e Bayt. May he rest in peace, and may his love for the Masumeen, that shone through all his poetry, help him through ahead. Oh, and may the killers and their ilk burn in hell

Inna lillahe wa inna ilayhe raja'oon. I just re-registered after all these years because I don't know where else to express my heartbreak at this loss. I had the honor of meeting Ustaadh last summer... The hospitality he showed toward my family is beyond description. I can only say that his matryrdom is not merely a loss for the Shi'a world, but for humanity at large. The degree of humility he embodied is rare beyond measure, and the world is a far colder place without him.

But Ustaadh said it best himself: “Ghusl-e-mayyat na kehna mere ghusl ko, ujle malboos ko mat kafan naam do, mein chala hun Ali se mulaqat ko, jiski thi aarzu woh gharri agayi."

why upload such a pic? are you even having a morbid desire to enjoy the fact that you are alive and the person is dead. Respect the dead. Don't show his dead body photo.

let the people know how brutually he was attacked, his last journey and racist like you will teach us respect or humanity get a life

God's curse be upon the enemies of the followers of the Ahlulbayt (as).

He was arguably the most famous and well regarded poet in the Pakistani community and he had a distinct style.

Al-Fatiha for his soul.

And a real sincere person. I mean, you could tell how devoted he was just from the tone of his voice when he was reciting poetry on Ahlulbayt. To see his body covered in blood like that, it's a real shame! It's almost unbeliveable.

First, they were only killing normal people but they are going after icons within our community. Next, they'll be after our scholars (if they aren't already doing that). The government HAS to do something but, unfortunately, I am sure they won't.

"I am constantly recieving death threats from outlawed militant outfits. My family, friends and some academic friends/colleagues are offering me full support for US or Canada migration. But why would I go? My whole life is spent in service of Imam Hussain(as) who got martyrdom for saving Islam. If I am to die for the same cause, why would I leave this country? I preach martyrdom, I enlighten about martyrdom, I write in praise of martyrs... than why should I run away from it? For a Shiite Muslim, martyrdom is the ultimate success."

He was my family friend, a remarkable poet dedicating his poetry for Imam Hussein (as)

He was incredibly talented and an academic as well, he lived his life in simplicity and I am sure he will be in a much better place.

Inna Lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji'un

I saw the pictures of his dead body on Facebook, it is ridden with bullets to the head, his killers will probably be free of any charges.

(salam)

I’ve taken one of my favourite poetry of his and have tried to translate it into English. It is a mixture of an audio recording of his from 2000 and a video of him reciting it for another martyred individual on 19th September, 2012. At the end he changes the wording around from saying “Some more of your children have become martyred” to “One more of your children has been martyred” as a tribute to the individual who the gathering was being held for. It was such a strong line, and it fits perfectly with his own situation today.

Wassalam

This is a poem that Sibte Jaffer wrote to invite you to his own "Jashan-e-Shahadat" (a commemoration for his martyrdom). He asked that his poem be published after his martyrdom. This poem including the last line "written by shaheed sibte jaffer" was written by him with instructions to release it to the world after his martyrdom

When I am no longer in this world, I request my friends to

Read Poems, Recite Quran and Surah e Fatiha to remember me

I want them to participate in works that helps others

I want them to organize a Majlis to celebrate my Shahadat

I do not want them to take revenge or wish bad for anyone

I just want them to serve the nation and the community

Tabinda, Abu Zar and Raninda (his children) are full of sorrow

I request my friends to treat them with love and put a hand on their heads

I request my friends to take care of my childrens' needs

I want them to strengthen my children's hearts and offer condolences to them

I want all the people working at the school

to respect my wife and consider her a teacher

I do not want anyone to conduct the affairs of the school with negligence

I do not want anyone to shy away from performing the smallest of tasks

They should contribute in whatever capacity they can

I do not want them to complain or whine in any way

God is my witness that I am now happy and in a better place

I do not want my relatives to feel sad for me

I am alive, I am near and I am watching over you

You can meet me through the purification of your soul
