I was reading something President Ahmedinejad said in regards to President Commander Hugo Chavez. In the article below, which is in spanish because thats where i read it, Pres. Ahmedinejad apparently said Pres, Chavez will be resurrected and "return together with Jesus(as) and Imam Mahdi (as). Can someone elaborate on what it is he could mean? I love Ahmedinejad but I have never heard such a thing so naturally I am confused by it.

Well, there is the concept of raja'ah in shia Islam (you can read a bit about it here ) so he may be referring to Hugo Chavez being one of those who will return. With all respect, I do not see how he can state it as a fact as opposed to a possibility though.

I think it's a subtle way of saying that Chavez was assassinated. Shuhadaa' return during the time of the Imam (ATF) - Ahmadinejad is implying that Chavez is a Shaheed.

he probably made a mistake... this section is not included in the Spanish official version of the message sent ... nor did he say that in his declaration when he arrived in Caracas - he only said that Chavez lives in the hearts of the people...

Hugo Chavez stood up on the side of justice and was a beloved friend to Muslims. Allah says in the Quran that He can forgive whom he wills no matter what, i do not know the exact verse but i know i have read it.

My belief is that although he was a Catholic there is a chance for him receiving a reward because I promise you Catholic Hugo Chavez was a better Muslim then a lot of Muslims.

That's probably why ahmadinejad assumes he will return. And ahmadinejad assumes a lot in many matters concerning all mahdi ajf as if he is the spokesperson for him.

Our belief regarding this is very clear: only Muslims will enter Heaven, unless Allah (SWT) wants to make an exception, in which case, of course, like you've said, he can forgive who he wants. I am sure you are familiar with the Sunni belief that Abu Talib will go to Hell and though their belief that he died as a non-Muslim is wrong, the basis of their claim is very found: even though one may have better actions than a Muslim, belief is still very important and a requisite for one to enter Heaven. So, yes, he may have been better than many Muslims, probably even including myself, but without the correct belief, the best we can say is that his fate is unknown because Allah (SWT) can make exceptions but the question is, will He?

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez died of cancer at a military hospital in Caracas on March 5, 2013.

The Venezuelan president himself, before he died yesterday, wondered aloud whether the US government - or the banksters who own it - gave him, and its other leading Latin American enemies, cancer.

A little over a year ago, Chavez went on Venezuelan national radio and said: “I don’t know but… it is very odd that we have seen Lugo affected by cancer, Dilma when she was a candidate, me, going into an election year, not long ago Lula and now Cristina… It is very hard to explain, even with the law of probabilities, what has been happening to some leaders in Latin America. It’s at the very least strange, very strange.”

Strange indeed… so strange that if you think Venezuela’s Hugo Chavez, Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff, Paraguayan Fernando Lugo, and former Brazilian leader Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva - Latin America’s top anti-US empire leaders - all just happened to contract cancer around the same time by sheer chance, you must be some kind of crazy coincidence theorist.

Am I 100% certain that the CIA killed Hugo Chavez? Absolutely not.

It could have been non-governmental assassins working for the bankers.

But any way you slice it, the masters of the US empire are undoubtedly responsible for giving Chavez and other Latin American leaders cancer. How do we know that? Just examine the Empire’s track record.

Fidel Castro’s bodyguard, Fabian Escalante, estimates that the CIA attempted to kill the Cuban president an astonishing 638 times. The CIA’s methods included exploding cigars, biological warfare agents painted on Castro’s diving suit, deadly pills, toxic bacteria in coffee, an exploding speaker’s podium, snipers, poison-wielding female friends, and explosive underwater sea shells.

Perkins, during his career as an “economic hit man,” gained first-hand knowledge about how the big international bankers maintain their empire in Latin America and elsewhere. Perkins’ job was to visit leaders of foreign countries and convince them to accept loans that could never be paid back. Why? The bankers want to force these nations into debt slavery. When the country goes bankrupt, the bankers seize the nation’s natural resources and establish complete control over its government and economy.

Perkins would meet with a targeted nation’s leader and say: “I have a fist-full of hundred dollar bills in one hand, and a bullet in the other. Which do you want?” If the leader accepted the loans, thereby enslaving his country, he got the payoff. If he angrily chased Perkins out of his office, the bankers would call in the “asteroids” to assassinate the uncooperative head of state.

The “asteroids” are the world’s most expensive and accomplished professional killers. They work on contract - sometimes to the CIA, sometimes to the bankers, and sometimes to wealthy private individuals. Do CIA-linked killers sometimes induce cancer in their victims? Apparently they do. To summarize: We know that the bankers who own the US government routinely try to kill any Latin American leader who refuses to be their puppet. We know that they have been experimenting with cancer viruses, and killing people with cancer, since the 1960s.

So if you think Hugo Chavez died a natural death, I am afraid that you are terminally naïve.

Look at the old man's jacket in the first picture. Seems like its not even a jacket but painted black. And the tip finger of the hands of Ahmedinejad, where it meets the man's neck, seems tweaked and changed when compared to the second picture.

Anyway I don't really care. That was kind of fun. :)

About President Ahmedinejad hugging Hugo Chavez's mother I say there is nothing wrong with that. For one she is a widow, 2 its a beloved friend of her dead son, and 3 it is an act of compassion/sympathy to help a hurting heart. I may be liberal but I believe there wasn't a single thing wrong with it and I also believe it was a great act for the world to see. Earlier in the day Pres. Ahmedinejad was seen meeting Bolivian President Evo Morales and Native Bolivian Women. You can clearly see Pres Ahmedinejad motioning that he doesn't shake womens hands and you can also see Pres Evo Morales reaching for the women as if to say NO. My point is, its not like Ahmedinejad was out there hugging every women who came by. He didn't embrace the daughters or Hugo Chavez's Wife. It was the Mother, the most important person in a mans life, who was in dire pain and suffering after burying her 58 year old son. I am sure that I can speak for all parents and say, NO PARENT SHOULD EVER BURY THEIR CHILDREN.

Being an American Convert I owe much of my path to Islam to President Ahmedinejad. No I do not know him nor have I seen him in person but it is him who initially made it clear that the west lies against Islam. It was my firmest belief prior to 2009 that this man was the devil and needed to be destroyed. After his speech and Q&A at Brown University in 2009 my entire outlook on Muslims/Islam changed and my heart opened up to Islam. I deeply admire this man and I see him as one of the reason I am Muslim today. He started my path by showing me that even the smallest of things they say about him were false. Which sparked my interest and made me decide to start doing independent research and figuring out who the Muslims are for myself and not from the TV or my preacher.

Salaam. I'm not for Ahmadinejat holding her hands, only that it was not what he has decided to do before he met President Chavez's Mom. Well I read this somewhere that according to Foreign Minister Mr. Salehi (present there), the lady reached for his hands and he could no longer miss it as is often the case with him with other women in foreign trips. You're most familiar with his long-held trick, aren't you?

As reported many times by Iranian media - and one news agency actually headlined that as this: When President's Trick Ever Did Not Work- President Ahmadinejad tried to do the same thing at the moment, folding hands up (look at his hands in Chavez's mom picture), where the sad old woman placed her hands over his all of a sudden.

This is not really went hot in the media here, even much more HOT was actually the photoshop thing and the two photos. No one actually knows who did that and, believe me, was he a supporter of the president or meant to somehow do something disrespectful to the president's (and his supporters' image when everybody knows the other image with Kufi Anan(?) is fake.
