Salamu Alaikum,

I didn't take my Shahadah like that nor do I think any should ! Individuals never represent the whole of anything, hence he doesn't represent the the whole of Shia. We should always refrain from sowing more discord than there already is. Just because Shia don't agree on what took place following the passing of our beloved Holy Prophet (SAW), we don't have to disagree in this manner. There is means of approach to situations that are more constructive than this. Some brothers and sisters have been educated on historic events and some have not. Some brothers and sisters will accept what happened and change their ways and some will not. But we will never get our point across by disrespecting those that some brothers and sisters have been told and taught to love. I'm sure that the Prophet (SAW) himself nor any of our beloved Imams (as) would have taken this approach.

You need to get your facts right, if you would have studied or researched this issue, you would have found that the leader of Iran Imam Khameinih has issued a fatwa against cursing the aforementioned.

Also if you wish to be fair you need to look at all the evidence about the issues at hand, its not enough to read/hear only from the Sunni scholars about Shia/Sunni issues, if you truly want to be educated then read from both scholars about the issue, and only then can you argue and ask questions. It is definitely not a small thing to chew but there is much research to be done and much to learn on the topic.

Dont be like the Christians or Jews where they just accept what is given to them without reason or logic or questioning, and it doesnt take much to look at the surface of the issue using Sunni books of hadeeth to find the truth, and i am talking about Bukhari namely.

See the only problem is that even when you serve the truth to people, they come up with justifications and come up with "disregarded" opinion about what they are told, so that even when you show them what they dont want to know and see, they still go on to disregard it and make up excuses for why it is.

Lastly if you truly believe that Sunni Islam is the true Islam then why has not the Sunni world been able to uphold the truth, and why has the equinox of the Sunni Islamic world shifted today to what it is, in that they are Khalifeless, they are also disunited among themselves and they have many claimants to their throne, while the so called most powerful one(i.e the Saudi regime) is a corrupt and perverted money orientated allies of Israel and America causing discordance in the Islamic world.

The sunnis are scattered and torn apart, even in Bosnia the situation of the Islamic council and Sunni Muslims is torn and dire, the only thing left is propaganda about how evil the others(i.e Shia) resulting in looking for the speck of sawdust in others eyes while ignoring the plank in your own

Finally i know Bosnian, they are arrogant and hard headed people, they stick to their traditions and they rely largely upon what others tell them, like gossip masters, they never study the issue at hand personally, and are eager to hear "gossip" and "hearsay" about others with open arms but quick to deny and disregard truth when it is presented to them fairly and without bias and prejudice, so beofr eyou even seek the truth first demolish these demons inside of you stopping you from reaching and knowing the truth, namely bias and prejudice and acceptance without thinking

William James who was 19th century philosopher very nicely put it when he said in his essay "Pluralistic Universe"

"Common men find themselves inheriting their beliefs, they know not how. They jump into them with both feet, and stand there"

so i tell you dont be a"common man" and just believe what you hear, rather hear what you believe and question it and then truly accept it as truth or falsehood, as this common man belief syndrome is common amongst everyone, even many Muslims, because had they been born into anything else they would be of that religion without question and believe in it as if it was revelation from God directly and they were the ones to receive it and propagate it

I am Bosnian shia. You have no right to talk like that about Bosnians.

Arabs, Turks, Pakistanis, etc are not better than us Bosnians

There's Shia in Bosnia ?

You must be part of a very small community there, right?

Shahadah is a testimony of faith.

Say whatever you like.

Mine reads "la ilaha illa Allah, Muhammad r-rasul Allah".

If one wishes to recite what Yasser Habib has said, let him.  It's a statement of that person's own faith.

There is no "Shia Shahadah" or "Sunni Shahadah".  That's ridiculous.

There is nothing wrong with what he did. He always speaks the truth.

I don't care if he's speaking the truth. That man is deliberately trying to divide the Muslims when at this time we're supposed to unite under the banner of Islam. My marja3 issued a fatwah against cursing the first 3 caliphs and the wives of the prophet. Just leave the matter to Allah and he will deal with them in the day of judgement.

Look dude, I'm pro unity so I don't curse in public because it's morally wrong. If I need to send lanah on certain individuals I'll send, but there are others I don't need to send publicly. Shias are being persecuted in other countries because of the likes of yassir, this guy is crazy he's not only cursing certain people who are respected in other schools of thought but he's also openly cursing other Shia scholars, I have no respect for him as he portrays Shias in a negative light, cursing will get you nowhere everything has it's time and place.

I don't want to debate about this, I just said cursing in public is wrong, our imams vouched for the unity of this Ummah. You can't publicly curse those who are revered by other people in Islam. We can have our beliefs but we are supposed to be tolerant and inviting others to our faith, not create disunity and fitnah that is serving the interest of the west and israhell. When a so called sheikh starts cursing and talking ill of certain personalities then our fellow shias are targeted in other countries as a result and they're executed and mutilated because of a foul mouth sheikh. The Quran says:

'And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided.'[3:103]

Yasir Al-Habib IS NO BETTER THAN OSAMA BIN LADEN..his actions are the results of many killings of INNOCENT SHIAS...BROTHER THE SHADAH IS...

"I bare witness there no God but Allah and Mohammed is his Final Messenger"..

let me give u a simple example...

when there is a Tree there is allot of green grass...thats us Muslims...then u have rotten grass which go astray from the original essence.

The TREE = Islam

Green grass = Muslims

Rotten grass = Extermists

Just like Ahlus Sunnah have extermists E.g. Bin Laden dnt be suprised when a few where a turban and call themselfs Shiekhs...

BTW you cant curse the sahaba.. it doesnt bring you closer to Allah swt... what you can do is say is

"Allah Withdraw your mercy from the enemys of the Ahlulbayt",

but using spesific names is a show of arrogance, another brother may have not read what we have read and there for it causes disunity..and the Quran says something different to this:

'And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided.'[3:103]

Shiekh Yasir Al-Habib is an Extremist and does not represent us, and he is not a scholar of any rank. End of post.

Why? Because he curses the killers of the prophet pbuhahp?

Has he killed anyone?

Yes. Doing laanah is fine. We do it in ziyarrat ahshura. He does lanah on the killer of ahlulbayt and the Prophet pbuhahp. So should we stop cursing the killers of Fatima Al Zahra as just incase some people get sad?
