Knowledge For Hawza?

Rate this topic

Recommended Posts

Salaam,

Parents will send their teenagers there from surrounding countries like Tajikistan to get them out of trouble and straighten them out, so that should give you an idea of what level of knowledge a beginning howza student might have. That said, I don't recommend going, but your choice.

Salaam,

I was wondering if I could find out how much knowledge I have to have to get into a hawza. For example. Basic Usool and Feru. Or more complex fiqh laws. Please give examples of what you have to know, if you know what I mean?!

Thanks

(salam)

general islamic knowledge is very useful. You can read books, browse forums such as this one or listen to various lectures online.

I highly recommend hawza, there is nothing better than to spend your life in servitude of Allah .. Yes,i agree with Macisaac, that there are a lot of people from tajisktan over there to get out of trouble from their country, but this doesn't mean that you shouldn't go !!

Its like traveling to the west, many students come to the west just because in their original country, they are in danger .. it doesn't make the west a bad place...

This is the first year in English, then I guess we redo all this in Arabic for second year, then I am not sure what the third and 4th year are going to be like. I think they get deeper into logic and philosophy or something.
