There is another Sahih hadith where Imam al-Sadiq (as) says that Imam Ali (as), Fatima (as) Imam Hassan (as), Imam Hussein (as) are the people of the kisaa'.

Translation: I once heard Abu ‘AbdAllah, asking Abu Ja’far al-Ahwal, when I was listening, “Did you go to Basrah?” He replied, “Yes” (I went to Basra), He (the Imam) asked, “How was people’s promptness to access this command (Wilayah)? He replied, “By Allah it is very little, they have done it but they are very few.” He (the Imam) said, “You must approach the young ones because they are quicker to all good things.” He (the Imam) said, “What do the people of Basra say about the verse of the Quran, “Say, I do not ask of you any reward, except that you must love my near ones.” (42:23) I then said, “May I be ransomed for you”, they say it is about the relatives of the Messenger of Allah. He (the Imam) said, “They have spoken a lie. It was revealed about us specifically, about Ahlulbayt, Ali, Fatimah, al-Hassan and al-Hussain, the people of the Cloak.

The hadeeth is weak per shia rijaal standards brother.... Muhammad bin `eesa from yoonus bin Abdul Rahmaan is weak because of the problem with the itisaal.

Salaam

Salam,

Does this mean it is a mursal hadeeth?

Uthman al-Khamees doesn't even use logic in his anti-Shia propaganda, his attempts are desperate, and can easily be refuted by using his own argument against him.

He has a 30 part 'Heart to Heart: Letter for seekers of Truth from among the Shia' series against us, I have been refuting it pretty easily so far.

Also why the fuss about the Hadith, it is deemed as Sahih by Sunni standards, and has been included in Sahih Muslim as well.

Please be more accurate and state "weak per my standards" as your standards are not representative of authority or the majority.

al-Khui, al-Muhsini, al-Sistani...etc etc and other Muhaqqiqeen and Maraji disagree. The jamhoor (majority) accept Muhammad b. Isa b. Ubayd as thiqa jaleel and his ittisaal with Yunus b. Abdurrahmaan is established.
