Aslamalaykum,

@Siraat

I told him that its a nice story however do not lie about someone when u are not sure because if what u say is true then u must agree that al hilli did not read ahadees on the subject or he is lying about the meeting.

The supposed slim allamah hilli was looking for a hadees on ziyara being equal or greater in sawaab than hajj and there existed many ahadees books before his time which had ahadees about its extra sawaab hence I said that

Correction! The scholar was curious to know when He came across/read the hadith, that "crying for Imam Hussain a.s even one shed of tear, will guarantee you a place in paradise."

He couldn't grasp this concept that How comes one tear for Imam Hussain a.s, can earn you a eternal place in Paradise.

Hence the story you quoted, but even that is not the full version.

If you read the whole event then you will understand that only the Imam could given an answer like this.

Allah swt knows best

this just goes to show that there is alot of hate and envy from people, just because they are weak to achieve this themselves , and they come with silly excuses like "give me proof" , i think the only prof you need is that you arent able to achieve this because you lack any integrity and endurance and get jealous and angry when others achieve it, just because you know how to use jargon words

if you saw the imam would you start talking like this with him? of course not, but why do u belittle the achievements of others?

people are pathetic and arrogance is in their hearts, instead of saying alhamdulilah, they say "your a liar" do these people have any idea how hard it is to uphold such ethics? that these people upheld in order to achieve what they did

clearly you dont have it, so stop hitting on those who do

The Quran teaches me to ask for proof when anyone makes a claim. If they have evidence, i will surely accept their claim. If not, there are a billion unevidenced claims out there. Without evidence, no-one has any credibility.

I personally would be over the moon if someone met the prophet and had undeniable proof. The problem is there is no proof. This is how in the medieval era, so many myths and supertituous beliefs spread; heresy was the norm. People would tell each other wonderful stories and they would spread. No-one asked for evidence.

That's perhaps why there was a dark age then.

In all honesty your proof asking is not genuine, and the answers you get does not satisfy you, and the reason is this ----->>>

And never an Ayah (sign) comes to them from the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of their Lord, but that they have been turning away from it.

And even if We had sent down unto you (O Muhammad saws.gif) a Message written on paper so that they could touch it with their hands, the disbelievers would have said: "This is nothing but obvious magic!"

And they say: "Why has not an angel been sent down to him?" Had We sent down an angel, the matter would have been judged at once, and no respite would be granted to them.

And had We appointed him an angel, We indeed would have made him a man, and We would have certainly caused them confusion in a matter which they have already covered with confusion

And indeed (many) Messengers were mocked before you, but their scoffers were surrounded by the very thing that they used to mock at.

Say (O Muhammad saws.gif): "Travel in the land and see what was the end of those who rejected truth."

And of them there are some who listen to you; but We have set veils on their hearts, so they understand it not, and deafness in their ears; if they see every one of the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) they will not believe therein; to the point that when they come to you to argue with you, the disbelievers say: "These are nothing but tales of the men of old."

And they said: "Why is not a sign sent down to him from his Lord?" Say: "Allah is certainly Able to send down a sign, but most of them know not."

Those who reject Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) are deaf and dumb in darkness. Allah sends astray whom He wills and He guides on the Straight Path whom He wills.

But those who reject Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), the torment will touch them for their disbelief

And finally

Verily we will show them signs in all regions of the earth and in their own souls until they know this is truth

See MR Rational Thinker i have seen many of your conversations with people here, and your are so quick to deny everything, despite that they overcome you with questions you cannot respond, you continue to keep on asking proof as if the world owes you a debt, i have given you the proof for such a claim, i gave you the hadith al qudsi from Imam Ali of the Prophets conversation with God during the Miraj , it is an authentic hadeeth, it is from authentic source, and it is the most direct wording of God, so you either dont believe in God, or dont believe in Imam Ali, or dont believe int he Prophet to deny what i have given you

And i will tel you why you are like this, unfortunately your heart is blinded due to sin, and you dont know it, but this sin has enveloped into other things also and caused other veils over your heart, such as envy and dislike towards these things, so whenever as i have seen many times before there is such things, you come in to try to destabilize it and cause disbelief in it, and these verses above describe the state you are in

If you want to see the truth, remove this darkness of your heart, and you will be able to distinguish truth from falsehood, and stop with this "give me proof" nonsense that even you outdo the atheists in it, and it is more like a child who has learnt a first word and says it over and over again at the response of anything.

Nobody needs to prove anything to you, these people are telling the truth, and just because you cannot accept it, that is your problem and it comes from the darkness which fills your heart, remove it and you will be free to see the turth.

Salam 3alaikum,

I have a friend who is a "Sufi" and he told me that his sheikh once saw and met with prophet muhammad (pbuh) and prophet khidr (pbuh) , he said that his sheikh said that he sat and spoke to them in REAL life NOT a dream, whats do yous think about this? please provide if possible some sort of evidence that this cant happen.

He is not telling the truth. This is dawa 101 for Sunni Sufis to lie about dreams to gain followers. Don't fall for it. In Islam (Shia Islam) dreams or stories as such don't mean dirt, because only the dreams of a masoom (Nabi or imam) has a Shari' authenticity.

You clearly speak from ignorance and Bias and learn the true meaning of Shia, becase so many Sufi's are in areality far better shia then the so called shia, yourself being a clear example, speaking from such ignorance, before you make such statements read some hadeeth and Quran

what if the person told you that he was a Shia sheikh, i bet then the response from people would be far more different

anyone who has ready any of the monumental literature of shia authors such as Khomeinih and tabatabai and some hadeth, will know that even an unbeliever can achieve greatness before God by simsply overcoming the nafs, even if in his mind he claims and denies God , because its not what a person think its what a person does, i can say i dont believe in God but if i resist the haram things, and i resist the nafs then truth would be unveiled to me via the heart, and naturally i would be inclined to God

one famous example being Buddha, he didnt know Islam or Allah by name, but he knew them in the heart and followed them better then so many Muslims in the past, present and future, because God is not interested in your pathetic lip service, and what you read and store in your mind, God wants to see the one who is succesfull, and in teh Quran "he is successful who purifies it" (i.e the one who overcomes the nafs)

and its not hard to see the truth in overcoming the nafs, i.e a person who eats too much becomes overweight hence he sees the damage of food and overeating, a person who sleeps around gets STD's hence he sees the damage of adultery and avoids it, a person who steals or lies gets caught byt he law or by the people whom he cheated and sees how bad it is and hence doesnt ever do it anymore, and if he makes a habit out of avoiding it due to his experience of seeng its "evil" he overcomes the inclination towards it i.e he overcomes the nafs

which then unveils the heart, which then opens the hearts to receive God's light which then results in a true believer in God

Imam Ali said "i do not worship a God i do not see" and so do such people not believe in a God whom they dont see, but due to their unveiling they end up seeing God and finding the truth

Sufis are notorious liars. Don't believe in anything they say.

this just goes to show that there is alot of hate and envy from people, just because they are weak to achieve this themselves , and they come with silly excuses like "give me proof" , i think the only prof you need is that you arent able to achieve this because you lack any integrity and endurance and get jealous and angry when others achieve it, just because you know how to use jargon words

So you don't need proof for anything? One brother on this thread saw a three headed dog, have you seen this three headed dog? Or are you "weak to achieve this" yourself? Do you feel angry and/or jealous of this canine inspiration?
