(bismillah)

(salam)

This is a great post I was thinking about that. It would be good sticky in every forum I believe. Many don't read this forum. Specially the forum about poltics. People over there have accused me of being fake Shia and Sunni @) , etc just because I didn't agree with a regime and its politices. So it would be a great reminder if it was in every form encourage "adab"

I think "openness" of mind and intellect is another quality of Shia. That is why they called us Radifi because had opened minds and followed our intellect (and of course our holy Imams) so encouraging open mind and tolerance could be another point. :)

Thank you and (salam)

Let me add to your list:

1. Show respect to your elders - something all our parents teach us.

2. If you are a sister dont try and belittle your fellow sisters. It can take some courage for some sisters to actually post, please support them.

3. Try not to show off and suck up to the boys, it can make you look desperate.

4. Recognise a troll (wahabi etc) when you see one, they are usually the ones laughing at your nice/stupidity.

5. Dont post patronising orders to other members.

And remember to smile :)

Perhaps a "marriage" thread could solve that issues where brothers and sisters get to know each other so they dont look desperate. It would also be a good deed. :)

I would add do not accuse any member who does not agree with every single shia belief to be a wahhabi. I have seen so many users here accused of that, when they are actually saying something true.

I would add, always look at the other side, be willing to conform/change ideas, and at worst, when you disagree with someone agree to disgree. These are just forums. If you see the debate going nowhere, just leave the topic.

(this is to myself and to all of us)

+ Not all wahhabi's are bad. Many probably dislike the killings of Shia's. We can't paint them with the same brush.

Yeah maybe, but I don't think you actually need it. Plenty of people on sc have managed to get married without a marriage thread.

I also notice that a lot of people generalise or think someone is a troll instantaneously. What is that all about? We should just wait it out until he/she gets found out.

If he/she isn't a troll you've literally alienated him/her.. So I think it is best to wait it out, unless it is blatantly obvious.

(also see my signature for a good akhlaqi push up the backside for all of us)

I've cleaned this thread up by removing all the off-topic posts (including my own). Please don't post sly/silly posts and derail this thread.

so now when people speak the truth is it sly or silly?

Naz, it doesnt hurt to listen to others.

You have an annoying tendency to follow every rule to the word. Every topic has a few off topic posts, use some common sense. Nothing wrong with deleting insulting posts etc. You do the same thing in the chat room, and its freaking annoying.

Wow you guys are harsh. I am amazed, honestly. And MK, this thread is about akhlaq. Even I noticed this thread was going sideways, or am I missing something?

Baffled.

If you were leaving the house and wearing something that makes you look like a moron would you want someone to tell you or not? I assume you would rather someone tell you, I know I would. Well you can compare what he said to that scenario.
