Brillaint. I was losing hope in our school of thought, and you have restored my faith in this fiqh. So many supersitous people belieivng in Black Magic.

There is no such thing as 'black magic'. Any bad that happens is a test from Allah swt. Anything good that happens is a test. Allah swt has created physical laws, the law of cause and effect, and given us the beauty of free will to effecively shape how our lives would be.

Black magic is seen as wrong because you beleive you can call upon a power other than Allah swt to help you i.e magic. I think it's a sin because you'd have to be guillible it exists, because Allah would have had to create it in the first instance.

I feel so sorry for all the people who will ask Mawlana's to recite Dua's to ward 'black magic' instead of giving people the required medical, emotional, and physcological help.

With the age of the internet, these superstitious beleifs will surely be eradicated, by any means neccesary.

Magic is mentioned in the quran. So there is magic. You can call it black, yellow, blue, white etc... But it exist. Refer to story of Suleman (a.s) or Musa (a.s) How can you say there is no such thing as black magic? There IS. It's called "sihr" and it's a well known sin in Islam.

"Everything good that happens to you (O Man) is from God, everything bad that happens to you is from your own actions".

(Quran 4:79).

Allah does not wrong anyone by as much as an atom's weight.

(Quran 4:40)

Indeed Allah does not wrong the people at all, it is they who wrong their own selves.

(Yunus 10: 44)

It has been made clear that everything is from Allah but what comes to us of good is verily from Allah and what comes to us of evil is from our own selves (our actions).

Good and evil, blessings and punishment, are from Allah, but no distress afflicts a man unless he earns it by his own mistakes or blunders. Like bounties and blessings, misfortune also comes from the Lord but is earned by man through his own wrongdoing.

You can plot and plan to Create events to ruin someone's life, out of enmity, envy, justice or just pure revenge. Your plot may fail and that is destiny in Allahs wisdom!

They will still be accounted for any wrong actions they do in executing their plans. Wether they fail or succeed in the plan!

If Allah allows the plan to succeed then that is our test, in how we react to the difficulties / afflictions. We can be patient and do things the halal way and find a halal route or we can take the haram route!

This simply is not true at all. You can't give 'evil eyes' or use 'spells'. There is no proof whatsoever of any of that. It's a superstituos non islamic belief.

Islam and the Quran mention black magic, they mention idols, and a lot of things too. If a book 'mentions' it, it by no means is indicative of it's validity.

Black Magic is shunned because it is shirk - a little like idol worship. Both are useless, but people ask on others apart from God. They also do the idiotic think of having envy and jealousy, and calling on 'evil' which doesn't exist in the first place, to harm another person.

The only person you harm is yourself, and the envy will eat your inside up(metaphorically).

Now anyone planning to beat their grand mothers because they have a 'jinn' in them needs to reconsider what religion they are following.

If 'black magic' exists, God has invented it in the first place. But no such thing exists.

The Atheist will automatically reject Islam if any of you spread this lie. You will be held accountable for misleading people.

I am no scholar, so read what S.sistani says

Question:

My wife fell into a deep coma. She was very healthy, and just carrying some water and then all of a sudden she collapsed while talking. She was rushed to the hospital immediately and it was found that her blood pressure was very low and due to this her brain did not receive oxygen for 2 hours. The doctors are unable to explain how she has fallen ill and I am also a doctor and also I can not explain how this has happened. Is she suffering from some sort of black magic?

Answer:

You must take her to a specialist. Do not engage your mind thinking about black magic or things like that. All things are in Allah's hand.

Magic exist, and like u go to the Doctor for your physical ailments, you need to go to spiritual doctor for your spiritual ailments. However to find a bonafide spiritualist is hard work. Most tell you the problem but can not cure the problem. Bonafide spiritual healers can tell who done the evil magic on you but they usually don't and just give you hints if you persist wiv them.

I was effected by Black magic and Alhumdillah I'm cured as I managed to find the set of instructions in a dolls body burried in a grave, through the Spiritualist. If You get rid of the evil instructions the symptoms go. But if them symptoms have been with you for a while they usually leave damage and that's wen you need to cure them by going to a physical Dr. For every disease their is a cure.

Here is a very informative video on black magic/witchcraft by Sayed Ammar Nakshwani.

people are so foolish

medicine is not advanced so much as to know the cause of all of the problems and symptoms the human has, but to conclude that its "black magic" is like going by some silly default

Sadly, this unislamic act is pretty widespread amongst a lot of muslims. The atheist immediately ignores Islam because they know that science proves it is a physical cause and exposure or links to that which causes ilness.

400 years ago we could not cure many ilnesses, and no prayer in the world helps. 400 years later with science we can.

So many mental health ilnesses are atrributed to black magic, when infact it's just a cognitive disorder requiring theraphy.

Lol, of course there is, I've got first hand experience that its not superstition. And it exist.

Islam and the Quran mention black magic, they mention idols, and a lot of things too. If a book 'mentions' it, it by no means is indicative of it's validity.

The book mentioning it is the Quran. So it is a binding fact that it exists.

Black Magic is shunned because it is shirk - a little like idol worship. Both are useless, but people ask on others apart from God. They also do the idiotic think of having envy and jealousy, and calling on 'evil' which doesn't exist in the first place, to harm another person.

For you to say its shunned and is shirk, you are agreeing there is such a concept as black magic.

The only person you harm is yourself, and the envy will eat your inside up(metaphorically).

Yes agreed in the long run you loose either in this world or the hereafter.

If 'black magic' exists, God has invented it in the first place. But no such thing exists.

God created shaitan too! Your point is?

The Atheist will automatically reject Islam if any of you spread this lie. You will be held accountable for misleading people.

Lol not true!

I am no scholar, so read what S.sistani says

He is not saying it don't exist! His workers who replied to the question did not diagnose the problem nor there was a fatwa given. It was just an advisory statement.

You are wasting your money.

They are all frauds.

If you for a second think jinns can posses humans (as odd as that even is) then just recite Surah Jinn? Or some other Surah?

"There is no Aid Except from Allah, the Exalted the Wise." [ch3/v126]. HOLY QURAN

This whole black magic fraud business is a real endemic. We as a community need to stop this unislamic stone age practise.

Here are verse of the Qur'an related to magic:

2:102

Sahih InternationalAnd they followed [instead] what the devils had recited during the reign of Solomon. It was not Solomon who disbelieved, but the devils disbelieved, teaching people magic and that which was revealed to the two angels at Babylon, Harut and Marut. But the two angels do not teach anyone unless they say, "We are a trial, so do not disbelieve [by practicing magic]." And [yet] they learn from them that by which they cause separation between a man and his wife. But they do not harm anyone through it except by permission of Allah . And the people learn what harms them and does not benefit them. But the Children of Israel certainly knew that whoever purchased the magic would not have in the Hereafter any share. And wretched is that for which they sold themselves, if they only knew.

Shakir

And they followed what the Shaitans chanted of sorcery in the reign of Sulaiman, and Sulaiman was not an unbeliever, but the Shaitans disbelieved, they taught men sorcery and that was sent down to the two angels at Babel, Harut and Marut, yet these two taught no man until they had said, "Surely we are only a trial, therefore do not be a disbeliever." Even then men learned from these two, magic by which they might cause a separation between a man and his wife; and they cannot hurt with it any one except with Allah's permission, and they learned what harmed them and did not profit them, and certainly they know that he who bought it should have no share of good in the hereafter and evil was the price for which they sold their souls; had they but known this.

ShakirAnd cast down what is in your right hand; it shall devour what they have wrought; they have wrought only the plan of a magician, and the magician shall not be successful wheresoever he may come from.

The difference is these are all matters related to the spiritual world, where Allah doesn't usually interfere apart from miracles. I think it makes perfect sense to rely on Allah when it comes to supernatural and spiritual matters though.

And they followed what the Shaitans chanted of sorcery in the reign of Sulaiman, and Sulaiman was not an unbeliever, but the Shaitans disbelieved, they taught men sorcery and that was sent down to the two angels at Babel, Harut and Marut, yet these two taught no man until they had said, "Surely we are only a trial, therefore do not be a disbeliever." [Qur'an 20:69, Shakir]

If magic can't harm anyone without Allah's permission, then wouldn't it make sense to ask Allah to protect you from magic, since He decides whether to let it affect you or not?

Anyway, what real evidence does anyone have that these 'spiritual healers' know what they are doing?

Do you not remember the story of Musa? The magicians magic was FAKE. This verse is referring to a SINGULAR test, not an overall reality.

You are right to say what you say, but i must stop you there for a second, God can cure people miracelously, of course it doesnt hapen often, it happens in special cases

Another thing people of God have been given the ability to also cure, but its not people like these mentioned above, its people who have conquered their self , so for them when they make a Dua it works like magic, but it is not magic, it is God's work directly

A while back, I was also hugely sceptical off these aamils and peers, God knows there's an army of fake ones here.

Recently, though, an acquaintance's experience made me reconsider my stance. A young girl, soon after her marriage,

fell badly ill. She lost weight like crazy, most obviously, and was just unwell. Doctors couldn't diagnose th problem. Then she

startd finding pins in her clothes and nightdresses, though the only ones entering her room were she and her husband.

Somehow, they came in contact with a molaana from Sargodha, who said she had had black magic done on her. He gave

some clues about the identity of the person responsible, such as her gender, her initials, and that she walked with a limp.

He then said she was someone to do with the husband's past. Turned out, his ex-girlfriend fit the bill. At the time of his

wedding, she'd made some seemingly weird threats too. The molaana told my acquaintance specific surahs etc to recite, and she started getting well, masha'Allah. Funny thing is, not too long after, her weight loss and health problems were diagnosd as being due to gluten intolerance.

Anyhow, she's well now. Allah alone knows what the whole deal was. I still think most of such stuff is bunkum, but am unsure

about dismissing it all so.
