Concluding that God does not exist. That definitely is my biggest fear. My life would be purposeless, i would vanquish into nothing, and religion would be the biggest bogus of all time.

Learn to love rejection. Use it to motivate you. I have been rejected from all sorts of things and i will in the futre no doubt.

I guess you need to find something you fear more. Perhaps knowing you could have gone for better things and your fear of rejection stopped you? Do you fear sitting on your deathbed and thinking "if only i had tried again, or harder or gone for it" ?

Sister Sapphire, tional can only talk about women rejecting him, unfortunately it seems to be what he lives for.

This line you said i think pretty much sums up how your are viewed on your shiachat posts. You do not have certainty of God's existence, and that is why you are in the turmoil you are in. Forget shia and sunni, forget even islam. i encourage you to look into theology and just do a little contemplation about God's existence. Then you can start looking to Islam, if you start to really believe in God.

A bedouin arab (ie desert nomad) was asked why he believed in God. The simplicity of his answer speaks volumes, and shows you don't need to be in a classroom for even a day to have conclusive proof of God's existence. I encourage all arabic speakers to look up his words, but this english translation will try and do it justice.

"All praise to Allah! The camel's dung testifies to the existence of the camel, and the camel's track in the sand tells other animals that something was walking there. A sky that holds giant stars, and a sea that has waves, does not all this testify that the Most Kind, Most Knowledgeable exists?"

My fear is for my spirituality today to be the same as yesterday, or worse, for it to move backwards. There is no stationary point in spirituality, we all move forwards or backwards.
