Friday Dec. 7, 2012: 10,000 Souls March in front of UN in New York to declare Shia murders in Pakistan a systematic genocide, in which state, media, and judiciary are silent partners.

The march will turn into a protest and will move on to Pakistan Consulate in NY.

Very nice! iA this will be a co-ordinated event with all the states combined so we can show up in higher number and stand against the Shia massacre being committed in Pakistan.

It was really successful ... Was honored to be part of the biggest Shia gathering in North America denouncing Wahabi terrorism in home and everywhere.

how can you call it a success when less than 10% showed up? And why do you think that it was the case?

A. Because more than 9% showed up. :)

B. First ever in USA, that so many Muslims gathered and in the language that everyone understands (posters, slogans, examples from real world) displayed people that a major chunk of Muslims denounce the Wahabi terrorism. (Unlike Muharram juloos in major cities which fail to make this distinction due to so much cultural undertones and no connects to today's terror).

C. Going forward, builds to momentum for even bigger gatherings.

D. Young Shias 18 something involvement was monumental and extremely encouraging.
