Mashallah! do you have any info on other stones, such a Feyrouz(Turquoise)? Where did you get your information from? It would be very interesting! Also, is it just semi-precious stones that are mentioned to have good properties in Islam, or are stones such as diamonds etc mentioned? what about the effect of metals such as silver and gold? Salams and duas inshallah!

my information is from google lol but i have heard that Feyrouz is mustahab to wear during prayer and will bring you wealth

i just found this too, not sure if it is true though

It is sunnat to have a silver ring. Wearing an iron, steel or brass ring is makrooh for both men & women. Therefore, according to Imam Ja'far Sadiq (as), the Prophet(pbuh) wore a silver ring. According to another tradition, the Prophet(pbuh) asked men not to wear an iron ring while praying & strictly prohibited the wearing of brass ring.

`Abul Mu'min al-Ansaaree reports that: " I heard Abu `Abdillah (Imam Ja`far as-Sadiq (as)) saying:

'The hands that wears Firoza will not see poverty.' "

Reference: Shaykh al-Tabrasee, Makarimul Akhlaaq, Teheran, 1972, pp. 87-89.

Imam Muhammad Taqi (as) stated that aqiq takes away the poverty & dissolves

differences in one's heart.

Imam Ja'far Sadiq (as) stated that aqiq brings safety while traveling.

According Imam Muhammad Taqi(as), wearing the ring of yakoot (ruby), stops worries.

ccording Imam Ali Reza(as), yakoot eases difficulties

Imam Ali Reza (as) stated that the ring of zaberjad (jade) eases difficulties. He also stated that the emerald ring turns poor into rich, and that whosoever wears a ring set with a yellow ruby will never become poor.

Imam Ja'far Sadiq (as) stated that those who wear a firoza (turquoise) ring, will never

become dependent.

Imam Reza (as) stated that the Imam Ali(as) once noticed the Prophet (pbuh) came out of

his house with a ring of jaze yamani, while on their way to attend the Jamaat

prayers. After the prayers, the Prophet(pbuh) gave the ring to Imam Ali(as), and asked

him to have it on his right hand while he prayed, as a prayer with jaze yamani

is equal to 70 prayers without it. The stone is always praying & reciting

'La Illaha Illalah' & 'Subhanallah', and its rewards reaches the one who

wears it.

Someone had married but no children were conceived. The person went to Imam Muhammad Taqi (as) to obtain his advice. The Imam(as) told him to wear a ring with firoza set in it with the following inscription:

'O My Lord! Leave me not alone (without an issue) though Thou are the best of

heirs.' (21:89)

Before the year ended, they were blessed with a son from the same wife.

The Prophet (pbuh) stated that Allah finds it difficult not to listen to the prayers of those who have aqiq & firoza rings on their fingers, and feels hurt to negate their prayers.

Imam Ja'far Sadiq (as) stated on durre Najaf, that all the Momineen & Mominaat feel happy when they sight this stone, and the pain of their eyes is relived.

Imam Ali(as) stated that he wants every momin to have 5 rings:

1.Yakoot is the best.

2.Aqiq as it is a stone which has affection for Allah & the Ahle Bayt(as).

3.Firoza gives strength to the eyes, expands the breast & strengthens the heart. Whenever a momin goes for some work with firoza ring on his finger, his work is done.

4.Hadeed Cheeni should also be worn but not always. Only when one is afraid of some mischief then he should visit that environment with this ring, as it keeps the devil away.

5.Durre Najaf, which is found only in Najaf. When a person wears a ring of durre Najaf, at his every glance towards it, Allah gives him the reward of Ziyarat, Hajj & Umrah, which are kept in his record of action. The reward is equal to the rewards of the Prophets & the pious.

(salam)

Thank you for this information, sister. It is very beneficial. Out of curiosity, have there been any scientific studies that confirm the benefits of aqiq?

i actually couldn't find any scientific evidence to confirm these benefits, but the hadeeths should be enough! :)

I also wear Aqeeq in silver ring and have a Hadeed-Seeni ring as well. Aqeeq is said to be the first among stones which recited shahadah so it was made beautiful, abundant and loved above all stones.

I want to have a ruby or sapphire ring. But they're so expensive. :(

Not to mention that my wife will shoot me on sight if I don't buy her one as well.

inshallah.. and i just found this site http://www.sarnam.com/hakeek.asp im not sure if it's safe and secure though, or if their products are real, so if you're going to iran anytime soon it's probably better to just wait, and that's a shame, i hope your dad finds it!

Yes, you are correct. I was just wondering if there was also scientific evidence so as to show non-Muslims, but it's fine if there isn't.

If you want to show christians i came across some biblical references about agate, but the benefits weren't mentioned, and i looked again for some scientific evidence but there seems to be none!

salaam

I just read this and thought i'd share it because i found it very interesting! i didn't know aqiq was so powerful!

From Islamic knowlege we know this about Aqeeq…

The benefit of Aqeeq is that it creates joy in the heart, is good for eyesight and it helps illuminate sadness and anger. It is also revered in other religious and has been in use from the time of Hazrat Adam ( a.s.). It absorbs the rays of the sun and passes these onto the body.

(salam)

When you put aqiq in sunlight it "energises" and "refreshes" the stone so that it continues to give off its high vibration energy properly. If you wear aqiq you should either wash the stone or put it in sunlight every once in a while to keep the energy flowing optimally.

How to know that whether the stone is aqeeq or not? I've heard that light do not pass from a real aqeeq is it true? And is there any other way to know it?

I boguht 3 rings from them and quality of rings are great. Beacuse of that I prefered Boutique Ottoman because they are most famous jewelry shop from Istanbul, Turkey and all products are geninue.

If you compare prices with ebay or other pages you can understand that they are selling original.

Here is rings that I bought from them. The worst thing with them is they are doing rings hand made and need 5 days for preperation and shipping takes 3 days for worldwide. So if you want to buy it as a gift you should place your order 1 week before.
