(salam)

Times approximate. For week days for the first half of the month.

3:15 am Get up for suhoor. When done eating, read duas till..

4:15 am pray fajr and read joz of Quran

6-8:30 sleep

9 leave for work

9:30 to 6 work, use lunch break at 1:15 to do Dhuhr prayers and read duas. Use break at 5 to do asr and read duas

6:30 get home and prepare meal for iftar, and start a load of laundry, also call my sister and my mother sometime before iftar; half hour before iftar exercise (since I'll be able to drink soon)

8:30 maghreb & isha prayers and iftar

9:30 spend time with family, read

between 10-10:30 go to bed and the cycle repeats

On weekends, and during the last two weeks, during the time I would be at work, I will instead be cleaning the house, reading duas or doing prayers, and cooking cakes and cookies to take to the masjid for iftar. On Thursday nights and other special days like Laylatul Qadr, I would go to the masjid an hour or so before iftar for Quran reading and stay through the length of that night's program inshallah.

I'm in Iran for the first 2 weeks, so won't be fasting because I'm a traveller!

It is obligatory for you to fast if you are travelling for more than 10 days...

I am travelling for 2 weeks during Ramdan and I will be fasting Inshallah

- wake up 3:30am for Tahajjud (though, sometimes I don't wake up on time)

- read a bit of Qur'an until 4am

- at 4am I have suhoor which usually is either an avocado sandwich or roti with butter and avocado on the side. Yes I love avocado.

- after suhoor I read a bit until about 4:45am, then I go to the masjid for Fajr.

- when I return I either read some more or sleep depending on how I feel. On weekends I would sleep until about 8am; weekdays 6am then ready for work.

- on the way to work I may listen to Qur'an or a lecture.

- at work I do work. In between I might read a bit of Islamic literature online, including right here on SC, depending on how busy I am.

- on my journey home from work, same as before: listen to Qur'an or lecture.

- when I get home I relax. After 'Asr, I read some Qur'an then relax a bit until Iftaar/Salah with family.

- get ready to go to mosque for Isha, after which I return home and read some Qur'an then relax until I feel like sleeping.

*some of these do vary of course as I can be lazy sometimes.
