This is my last post because I am no longer welcome here. I am not sorry for wearing out my welcome. My poems about Neda Soltan needed to be written. I'm only sorry in that censoring All my poems the moderators also censored dozens of great poems by other authors posted in the best of 2009, 2010, and 2011 selections. My apology is to these poets.

I leaned so much and enjoyed all my time here. I wish everybody well.

I'm sorry you feel unwelcome here, I can't say I relate with you entirely but I had a similar experience a couple of days ago.

Whoever made you feel unwelcome should feel ashamed of themselves, regardless, take care man.

I am sorry to see you go. I have enjoyed your contributions to the poetry section for many years. Are you being told to leave? I dont understand.

No, he is not being told to leave. He's just being a drama queen because shiachat didn't want the poetry section to turn into the Neda Agha-Soltan martyrdom section.

I don't think you should go. You made, and continue to make valuable contributions to the poetry forum and were one of the only critics, perhaps one of the best that has helped and appreciated my poetry writing since I joined. I just don't think you should lament over someone like Neda too much - don't continue to open cans of worms about something that happened and is relatively insignificant when put into perspective with the more important issues today.

Stay!

You are missing the point.

Without Neda there is no Spriglief, and without Spriglief there is no Neda.

The two are inseparable.

Why does a 50-year old non-Muslim guy write poetry about Neda Agha-Soltan on a Shia Islamic website? It takes a creative mind to come up with an explanation as to how this scenario can make rational sense... OR, one can merely concede that he is a political propagandist. I don't care what the explanation is; he is annoying.

There are a lot of questions left unanswered about who Neda Agha-Soltan was and who killed her -- just as there is much shadiness surrounding the unrest of those days and months. Neda Agha-Soltan's death was/is the most televised in history. If you would like, I could list some examples of questionable aspects about her death, but I don't really think that is necessary. The fact that her death is the most televised in history says all you need to know. (unless, of course, you are of the opinion that this was indeed the most important death in the history of television media). Spriglief contrives a narrative about her death -- much like the news media had done and continues to do -- and he runs with it. Is this normal behavior? That's for you to decide in your heart/mind...

So many poems for Neda

Not a single word about Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan

Not a single word for Dariush Rezaei

Not a single word for Mohammed Shahriari

That sprigleaf is a hypocrite is absolutely clear.

Dear sprigleif: Good riddance! And please don't bother coming back!
