(bismillah)

Would a poster of this picture given as a present to a friend be considered haram.? Because I got one in a jigsaw form where I would finish the jigsaw then it becomes like a poster. However I was unaware of the ruling, I will have to throw it away in case its haram.

Would any of them be considered haram?

Please enlighten me with your answers.

Thanks in advance

There is no problem with it.

Posters are not haraam (according to most scholars I think), provided there is no inappropriately dressed people on them or something like that (goes without saying).

I once sent this to Sayed Sistani's London office, and got this reply:

Is it permissible to hang photographs, posters and drawings of humans in the

house?

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Yes, it is

Thank you for your speedy reply replicant. Very helpful post, I will still be open for answers in case of any objections.

Salaam alaykum

I'm not sure Brother/Sister. Perhaps you should email your Marja.

Why would you think it's haram?

I was thinking it was haram due to thinking that the first image of the video game is 3-d, would it be considered 3d or not was what confused me.

Images on a flat surface are not 3D. They have 3D appereances from visual perspective but they are still 2D.

Statues or Mannequins are 3D.

Ooh Thank you Gypsy for your reply very much. That was the point of confusion for me whether that 3-d in all its forms was considered haram or not. Thank you :D

Naruto WILL NEVER BE HARAAM!

Maybe if a male watches it for the half-dressed girls then definitely it is

Its martial arts features though are really cool :P
