Salam ,

Probably it is not recommended to share dreams but I really want help since It is very much needed to understand a very strange Dream that I had last night.

OK....It was Laylatul Juma...I had prayed the Prayer of Imam Ali as ......and before this I had done extreme amounts of sins both major and minor. NOW THE DREAM...

I walked into a door.....a place I guess ...(note: It was feeling as If I was observing the whole dream and was a part of the dream as well). I was told that Imam Ali as is on a room. I was very much shy and scared and shameful as well to show him my face.To be honest this feeling was there in my body as well.Ok....So I went to this room and say him sleeping.....I remember exactly I even saw his yawn and another personality was right beside him as well probably one of his very dear companion as it felt at that time.I came back again thought whether it is appropriate to meet him or not. I wanted to meet him because I had a persons head in my hand , the same person who beheaded me once but due to the Imam as healing my head came back upon my neck. Finally I went and he greeted ( gets a bit vague here) then I gave him the head...I can recall that he laughed a very pleasant and modest smile....He thn perhaps told me something which I can recall.....BUT I DO REMEMBER THIS THAT HE TOOK A PAPER( DEERS SKIN) AND WROTE A VERSE FROM THE QURAN on it..and told me to go...(dont know which verse it was ) howvever do know that that it was about 5 or 6 words. I took it with me and kissed it while crying and I do believe that he gave the verse as part of a an advice......THEN I LEFT........

ANYONE WILLING TO INTERPRET OR GIVING THEIR THOUGHTS PLEASE DO SO,,,,,,,,,,,,

May be Maula(as)wants you to reform yourself, and want to take some service from you.You can do something to please him, there are two important factors shown in this dream, your embarrasment on your deeds, then He gave you some verse, even if u don't remember it was advice, isn't it?and second is His happiness to see that head.So first of all be a good practicing Momin, secondly, please him by combating His enemies,in an educated manner, fight those who propogate negative things about Him,belittle His status, counter them through proper knowledge, that will be your Jihaad, your defensive stance on Him should be like that, which fall as death upon His enemies.May Allah prove this dream in the best of your welfare in this world, and hereafter.

The heads that you spoke of are the two sides of your nature. At first your 'bestial' nature had control of you and had effectively decapitated your spiritual side. The Ahlebait healed you and you were able to overcome your bestial nature (decapitated head that you were holding) . The dream suggests that it is difficult to speak to the Imams directly in this time of Ghaibat so its important to look for those who are close to the Imam and will guide you.

The advice /verses given you and you forgot suggest that the message of Islam is very simple but man easily strays because he so easily loses/forgets the message.

So it suggests in these circumstances never give up circumspection and look for his guides in this world.

It also suggests that using your intellect to remain on the right path is important . Do not be swayed by those who claim an emotional argument. That is why heads were used not hearts

Dream is very personal event. If you are willing to be patience, sooner or later in your life time you will get the meaning of the dream. Having to dream of an Imam is a blessing, and to understand the meaning of the dream is much bigger blessing...

What I found fascinating about the dream was its Usooli symbolism. Your access and whereabouts of The Imam was pointed out you by a 'sahaba' and he delivered the message and verses to you. Is it possible you were asking yourself at the time whether to follow the Malang path or the Usooli path
