Sakina Trust is in East London, it is my local (website is not very up to date though):

This one is the most common one in South London:

. . , decent . . , long time no London

my dad's granddad had been around Huddersfield and Manchester b'fore coming over to this God-forsaken place, "united states of america." I think this is cool. That's all.

Thought some one might be able to use the available resource to find their way.

^ omg, all this time i thought you were Iraqi. I am truly baffled lol.

i used to go CYC when i could, though its a mission going from south west to north west. lol

No worries - if I got £1 everytime someone thought I was Iraqi, I'd be very rich.

anyone know if there's any around South West area?

salaaam,

check this website out for south west: http://www.zabihah.com/b/Southwest-England+120 pick your closest place and right under the map, choose the tab you want: masjed, restaurants etc. it then gives you the details on them as well. I always use this when I'm traveling, it's amazing all the masjeds and halal places you can find in a strange city, mashALlah!

Salam alaykum

A sister has moved to SE London with her family but can't find any centres nearby. Closest one is two hours a way she says.

Just wondering if there were any other shia families living in the area And what they do. Couple of years ago my friend had majalis in her house so are there families there that might do this too?

Alhamdulillah I'm so glad I live in manchester where majalis is practically on our doorstep.
