Iran's Oil Production In 2012 Falls By Almost Half

Parliament has politely criticized the IRI Government's 2012/13 budget, submitted two months late, due to the "unrealistic" oil revenue figures.

Iran's production has fallen by 109 million barrels in the first two months of 2012. This decline of 1.8 million barrels per day would be a decline of almost half in Iranian output.

meanwhile, Grand Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi has warned that "inflation is unbearable" and "the Government should look for solutions".

They say that the sanctions are not affecting them, but having such a significant amount of oil exports and production dopping off, is a big deal. Many countries with such a drop in production would collapse within the comming years.

In reality, Irans production is dropping, it hasnt been as low as 3.5 million bpd since 2002. And this drop in production from over 4 million bpd has occurred within the past 2 years.

And any source will tell you this information. Including Iranian ones.

International Energy Agency says Iran’s oil production has fallen to a 10-year low and could drop to levels last seen during the Iran-Iraq war in the 1980s.
