Mercy And Justice Of Allah In The Quran

Thanks.

One thing is important, and that is the Christian phenomenon. It's very important to not become like Christians that believe they will be forgiven regardless as long as they believe in Jesus.

In Islam, Allah is forgiving, but he chooses when to forgive and when to not forgive.

Of course not, brother. The point was simply to remind people to never despair of the mercy of Allah ÓÈÍÇäå æÊÚÇáì, and that Allah is Just. These ayats also show that Islam is not a difficult religion. Yes, we have to pray, fast, etc, but you don't need to do anything extraordinary in order to obtain jannah.

Thankyou for this beautiful compilation and composition - Al-Hamdu Li-Llah. A tremendous reminder of the Infinite Grace and Mercy of our Beloved, Beautiful, Bountiful and Benevolent Creator.

Surely, there is nothing more inspirational, illuminating and enlightening in all of creation, than the Word of Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala.

Wa Salaam.

"when"?

Or, do you mean: He chooses to forgive or not to forgive?

In any case, these seem to be very good reasons to despair of God's mercy.

Also,

For Christians, just as for Muslims, the question of hypocrisy always arises. That is, does one really have faith in Jesus Christ, and what does it mean for one to have faith in him?

In Islam also, God is forgiving as long as one is willing to have faith in His mercy! Because to not have faith in His mercy is shirk (which is why it is only shirk that stands in the way of God's forgiveness).

There is a beautiful hadith Qudsi that goes something like: "if there were no sinners to forgive, I would replace the inhabitants of the earth with others that do sin just so that my attribute of All-Forgiving can be manifested."
