We baked savoury muffins. It has a filling of chicken and white sauce. Its texture is like mashed potatoes when hot, but like muffins when it cools. Great snack.

:salam:

Just read this thread as I was about to have breakfast so I arranged my best picture for you guys.

In those small bowls are cherries, thyme and sesame, and olives.

What's in each one of those 4 bowls in a row?

I'm going to try these, inshallah. I've made savory muffins with egg, beef, and herbs. This is a little different but similar.

From left to right : brown sugar, cherries in jam (not really jam, they have been boiled in sugar and are still complete), zaatar (thyme and sesame) and olives from my father's garden.

And tea of course.

Haha true, I just dip bread into them mezze style, usually starting with salty and finishing with sweet ones. But not necessarily.

What country normally has this sort of breakfast?

I used one of those "seasoning packets" in my store bought  rice.

l ain't had anything so bad since my mother's cooking.

l couldn't finish it. And Allah-swt does not like wasters.

So it is not just my penurious nature, failing to finish it pushes the religion's envelope.

Question:    ls there anyway l can re-cook this awfuk stuff ?
